I know this is a sarcastic thread but... everyone needs to be able to change a tire. It's amazing how many people can't change a tire.

The oil thing is a preference I guess depending on the type of vehicle that you own.

I have a friend like that. Went to his garage one day and saw power tools, work benches, and a greasy oil pan underneath a jacked car. There wasnt even air conditioning. Nearly puked but I said I had a meeting at the office.

I would break ties with him, but he actually writes legibly in his emails, so I'll just boycott going to his house during my two hour lunch breaks.

My truck takes 7 quarts of synthetic and costs $125 to do at one of those quick lube shops (I just got it done last week).

I can do it myself in a half hour for a 1/4 of that.

i grew up around cars and race cars.. so i learned how to do my own maitnence and can fix most the common issues i've ran into either by figureing it out or youtube. it' way cheaper do it ur self at least around here and cause i don't trust people to work on my car if i can do it myself. (i also have access to multiple shops my family own so ig i'm spoiled in sense all i need to purchace is oil and filter or part)

Used to have the peasants at the shop change my oil. Then I was tipped off they dont always change it. Had my body guard mark the oil filter with a blue pen to check if they changed it. Came back with the same filter. I dont have to worry about that shop anymore because it mysteriously burned to the ground and I saw the owner and his children by the free way pan handling. I reported the kid for not being in school and they took him away. I heard the dad died of liver failure from too much drinking to kill the memories of his prior life. Now my body guard just changes the oil, think he knows not to rip me off. Tired of these fuking peasant tradesman always trying to jew me.

Day in the life of a tradesman

- Wake up with back pain from yesterday’s shift
- Walk into the bathroom and pees in the sink to save money
- Walks into the kitchen and asks the rat “what cereal are you having?”
- Leave the house for work in high vision vest and a hardhat

- Walk to work
- Almost run over by a STEM worker in a brand new Audi A6
- Gets to the work site late
- Sees his tradie friends and swears that he is late because he was smashing a hot chick last night and…….well do I need to finish?

Top 5 laundry detergents in the game (don't judge my opinion):

1.Tide (delivers a clean and fresh style of)
2.Oxi clean (attacks dry stains like a monster)
3.all (deserves a spot in the top 5 but not the best)
4.wisk (I respect the stain spectrum tech. But needs to fight harder for that top 3)
5.purex (up and coming in the game)

Lol do you guys realize how easy it actually is to change your oil? You need 1 tool - one of those oil filter clamps. And then you just need an oil pan. That's like 10 bucks for both of those. Filter and oil is like 20 bucks. After a couple times you'll be able to change your oil in 15 minutes. As far as maintenance goes that's about as basic as it gets. Unless your driving a lambo theirs no reason you shouldn't at least know how to change your own oil.

BUT LOL AT TRADESMEN FUKING PLEBS LOL!
