Some people don't even make 30k out of college with a degree. And others work their asses off at multiple jobs just to get about 30. That's not a good threshold.

You shouldn't, however, be allowed to vote if you don't hold a job (say, 6 months prior to voting. If you can't find something in 6 months, you ain't trying). It's common sense, really. People that take government assistance will obviously vote for whoever gives them the most free handouts.

Then you have politicians, who are scumbags, promising massive handouts because it will get them the welfare votes. This is a far greater impact than the fukking "1%" and "corporations" that lobby for tax breaks on businesses, no welfare, etc. You know,CAPITALISMthe concept this great nation was founded on.















Added: Pure capitalism works about like pure socialism (hear me out). It depends on the population being good people. The rich and successful voluntarily help those in need. For communism, it depends onactually trustingpeople to voluntarily do their best at their jobs in exchange for a good life.

With socialism, it's been proven time and time again that lazy fuks don't work and expect to be taken care of. With capitalism? Well, we've never seen what pure capitalism can do. Maybe the rich really will hoard everything, but I believe there's good in them, and it's worth a shot over the proven failure that is socialism.

This implies a certain amount of tax, unless it means any tax for whatever amount. Then that would mean that sales or luxury tax would count and therefore buying something cheap at a store means you are paying taxes.

People implying that those who disagree with them are "Marxist academics" and the like is why we need to weed out voters. Why don't you just ask for a literacy requirement? You could give people a short reading comprehension test. Same logic. Then you'd be turning time back almost 100 years. I had thought we had evolved beyond this in the US, but maybe only some people.

It doesn't matter how much you make. The poor make chit decisions for themselves and the rich make chit decisions for the poor by making the better choice for themselves. Neither have an obligation to help each-other, but the poor and rich are greedy. The middle ground, or middle class, has historically been the better more moderate choice. They typically make the sensible choices between balancing community and family BECAUSE they DON'T have a chip on their shoulder or are jaded against society. Fiscally, they're in the middle on a broad scale. Why do you think the main platform politicians hug onto is usually "for the middle class?"

The poor -> Want more for themselves and want to tax the rich more. They leech off the system through individual welfare.
The rich -> Want more for themselves and want to tax the poor more. They leech off the system through tax strategies.

Many similarities can be made between the two. The main differences come from their financial vehicles and overall fund allocation and appropriation. Also, who da fuq was freedom?

Perhaps we should do this with the 2nd Amendment right as well?

If you make less than $30k, you cannot own a firearm. I mean, it takes quite a bit of intelligence to use one responsibly. Also, the more money you have, the less chance you'll use a firearm in the commission of a crime. You also have less family stress with more money, thus using a firearm in domestic violence cases will lessen.

Come to think of it. How about free speech as well? I mean, no one likes to listen to idiots talk. If you make less than $30k, you cannot exercise the right to assembly or free speech. I mean, a bunch of idiots together is just asking for trouble.
