thanks for the article chaosman

its interesting emojis and pictures are more likely to get a response. so is looking at the camera / smiling. contradicts common wisdom

i think its probably because she purposefully aggregates data without regard to gender to draw conclusions that are more business facing, which is what she's paid to do essentially. probably.

@spadelexus , you're pretty close to NY aren't you? Where's a good spot to Spoof? For maximum exposure
Where the star is- Astoria, Queens. Set to 30 mile radius and you can swipe forever.

Spade, even if you have to pay more for being an old cnt, still worth the boost feature for you. Buy 5 of them and then when you move to a new location for business, use up one of them around prime time. Midday seems to work better than night for me.
I say this because it'd work best when girls in the area havent already swiped on you. So either that or when you reroll fresh account.

What I dont get about it, is I havent used it at all today, and Ive barely swiped anyone, and Tinder is drip feeding me matches from it which are different to normal matches. "Congratulations, you have a new match thanks to tinder boost." So according to tinder, they swiped right when I ran a boost for 30mins, I've apparently swiped right on them days ago, and tinder is only NOW showing matches. Gone so downhill from the earlier days of instant acknowledgement of a match and unlimited right swipes.

Did you try bumping up the distance to see if they pop back? There was talk about it on other forums, the match queue isn't fake. I can find all my possible matches, it takes a while though.

Bumble has definitely changed around the way profiles are shown, when I used it at the start of the year it would place all the profiles right swiped to the front.

lol bro. I have 2 matches in queue, I swipe 30 people and it runs dry. That takes under a minute. BRB zero queue.

LOL!

Yeah... Because I didn't game it for over a year for hundreds of thousands of matches worldwide and make $20k+ pocket money from it and based on what they're charging for 'boost' I was grossly undercharging. But go back through the old threads and see all the miscers whining about price.

I suppose as a web developer you probably think it's just like how search engine algorithm's are not entirely public either so SEO firms can't (and have never been able to) game search engines... LOL

cmon brah

I think you're overreacting a little bit, I'm speaking in generalities here. I'm not saying that an ELO system can't be gamed, I'm saying that they are hush about how it calculates your ELO so the average tinder user can't work the system using a little intuition.

Also lol @ your alleged stats of making $20k. Let's see some bank statements champ

Yeah, bumble is drip feeding profiles, I'm assuming because the user base isn't big in Australia. It does the same thing for me here, I suddenly have no profiles to swipe, few hrs later there's magically 10 more.

Are you ignoring the fact that I swipe 30 profiles it DOES offer within a minute and the QUEUE is GONE?

Have I been typing in English today?

Please tell me you're kidding?

I was charging $200 a week for the bot, and I was averaging 2-3 runs per week (if you do the math it's only 100 runs to hit $20k), some misc users, but mostly the outsourced online dating companies. Setting up a run consisted of putting a username and password into a file and double clicking an icon (5 minutes), before I'd automated it all, in the early days, it took a little longer to set up a run. The only cost to me was about $10 a month server cost and tinder plus account costs. The real cost was the R&D in developing the bot in the first place, and discovering the flaw in the algorithm.

I'm honestly floored that you would find a piece of software making $20k in a year unbelievable. Especially considering I was charging $200 a week (it would boost you 24/7 for the week) and Tinder are charging $7 for 30 minutes!!! Fact is, I could have made ALOT more if I was milking it for all it was worth.

But like I said at the time, it was a hobby business for me and I wasn't too worried about the money, and I didn't mind running it for cheap to help out the misc etc. my real software business I rely on to put food on the table makes much, much more.

EDIT: I was also able to tax deduct tinder account expenses against the bot earnings, which was nice. As it took a number of accounts to be able to keep everything running smoothly and for R&D. At one point I think I had about 4x tinder plus accounts and another 6 free tinder accounts. But still, we're talking pocket money here, it was never a legit full time business.

It's less that I don't think a piece of software can get that kind of money and more that you come off as a dumb chit who no one would purchase anything from

At the end of the day though, the tinder algorithm can definitely be gamed and resetting used to be beneficial at least up until as recently as a few months ago, so far I haven't seen anything proving otherwise. The 'reset has a negative effect' rumors have existed for years.

This makes sense tho. Like the SEO example you used. Back in the days black hat SEO'ers would link build and have hundreds of chit sites pointing to the site they were trying to optimize which gave that site a boost in the search results. Google caught on then changed their algorithm to weigh the links according to their popularity, which would penalize the sites that had inbound links from spammy sites.

Also keyword density, early on in the game black haters would hide the keywords on the bottom of the sites. Google caught on to that too.

It's like cops and robbers. Cops need to stay ahead of the game with technology, security measures, etc...but robbers are constantly looking for loopholes and weak points in the system to penetrate. Once they do, cops up their game and make it harder for the robbers.

No system is perfect.

(Not calling you a robber brb, but you know what I mean.)

Bingo

So drawing from the SEO analogy what are some techniques we can use to game tinder... You don't have to be a genius to figure these out:
- Create a bunch of hot female catfish accounts and mass reject every single guy in the city except for one profile, your profile. Every guy will be liking them, so they'll be super popular, but they'll only be liking you, which should send your ELO through the roof.
- Create a 10/10 male model account and let it sit for a couple of weeks occasionally rejecting a profile (every few hours) to keep it active, then after a couple of weeks change the pics to your own and start swiping
- Combine both of the above methods for even more of a boost

I'm sure there's more if you get a bit creative.

The original method to game tinder was just to autolike everyone and keep the autoliker active 24/7 and you'd constantly be up the top of the queue, this worked for a couple of years, then tinder stopped that. The next method was the exploit my bot used, which worked for a bit over a year, then tinder stopped that.

Of course there are still going to be ways to game it and use it optimally, it just takes a bit of time and commitment to figure out.

This is some bull****.

I recreated my account a dozen or so times and I think I got blacklisted. Literally got no matches in a week, used to get at least a few a week.

I really needed Tinder to get my mind off this girl that played me for the past two months as well. Fuuuark.

Tried making a fresh FB, but can't get past SMS verification as I don't receive the text.

Tours over for me, brahs.
Just got back from a date with my 7.5/10 - misc would say 6/10.
Texted her for a solid 2 weeks. I was for sure she was gonna flake.
We setup to meet Sunday afternoon. She texted today saying she cant do sunday but to meet tonight.
I said I'm in it to win it.
We met for dinner by her place. I didn't get to do my heavy kino since we were sitting outside and she was a bit uncomfortable when I escalated the touching.

After dinner, she ask me to give her a ride home. I thought I was gonna get laid.
What the fuk. All I got was 1 minute worth of tongue action and she went and gone.

Fukkk !!!!

However she did say next time she might invite me in.
We know what this means - she gonna ghost.
I failed to get her sopping wet.
Argh.. I'm such an FA. I finally got a sloot I'm attracted to and I've to jerk off now.

what about resetting profiles that don't require the verification ie. if you're using your true ******** account that has over 50 friends and your interests etc. i've pretty much only been getting superlike matches lately and definitely feel like i'm not being seen. bullchit. sick of the cockblocking by the tinder devs. i'm not currently in the city, where it still feels sometimes like i'm not being seen there either, but in the suburbs it is very much noticeable. brb using my grandmas # and calling her and asking for that there verification code. no, actually will use my younger bro's, who is in a ltr and never been on there before, and will just never reset again.

edit: just went live

edit edit: seeing chicks i never saw with my 9 day old account i'd reset on a lot in the past using the same number

very likely to be something to this
