Wouldn't be suprised is Mayweather's considering it tbh. He'd absolutely demolish McGregor and it'd be worth more then the Pacquiao fight. Dude's about his money and 100mill+ for the best boxer of this generation to box an MMA fighter is easy money.

I'd put money on Conor not landing a single power shot all night.

They just don't understand the amount of skill it takes to compete at his level.

This gif says it all...this chit may work in the Octagon, but I've seen 5 or 6 mistakes in this tiny gif that Floyd would absolutely exploit within seconds. That's why he doesn't want the fight, it's not a challenge in the slightest.

McGregor also had 4" of reach on him

??? Conor apologized for all his antics post UFC-205:

You can't compare his stand up with nate to boxing tho, In mma you are anticipating take down's kicks and other moves, When it comes to strictly hands its a different ball game.

There is no question Conor would destroy even a prime Floyd. His left hand is made of granite with a veneer of diamond.

All you have to do is watch connors sparring video. I believe mccgregor would win in a mma match but he is the one calling floyd out. They need to just stick to their own sports.

I'm a McGregor fan, but does he even have the stamina to last against Floyd?

There's no way Floyd would allow himself to get hit hard against McGregor...he is literally the best defensive boxer in the game right now, or ever in fact
What would Mcgregor do if he can't hurt him? No way is he beating him on points that's ridiculous. Floyd will just outbox him every round and it he will win on the scorecard.
I love both fighters and would be happy about the fight, it would be epic, but lol at anyone who thinks Mcgregor could actually outbox a GOAT boxer with a defensive style.

please dont use Mayweather and "fight" in the same sentence. Hes a "boxing gamer", not a fighter. Hes in the ring to score points and win the boxing match, not to fight in a fight.

Furthermore Floyd still has his power, he just doesn't use it because his hands are ruined.

All those years as Pretty boy took a massive toll on his hands...He still has the power, just the discipline not to use it, and why should he when he can easily out box you, and win on points?
My point wasn't that Floyd wouldn't easily handle McGregor. My point was that people saying McGregor has a "puncher's chance" are probably banking on the small possibility of Conor getting an early KO due to a relatively fluke shot and possibly the follow-up to it. Floyd didn't TKO Hatton until the 10th round. I know Hatton was 43-0 and all, but let's not forget he only won two more fights in his career after that. If Conor fights Floyd and it is still going in the 10th round the fight there's no way Conor would have a chance by that point, he wouldn't have the stamina to be dangerous by then and he would almost have assuredly lost at least 8 of the first 9 rounds.

Floyd should easily dispatch McGregor on the scorecard. Conor's best chance would be an early KO when his left is still firing at full power. I don't think he would land it, at least not with KO power, but that's pretty much the only scenario I can see him winning.

I think Floyd would try to box as defensively as possible until McGregor started getting tired while racking up wins on the scorecard, and then potentially look to finish McGregor off once he's gassed. Conor's best chance would either by a very early KO or a lucky KO right at that point where Floyd thinks McGregor is done and then gets a bit too cocky.
