I'd only have kids if I have a 1950's style housewife to stay home and raise them, hell maybe homeschool them too.

Divorced bruh checking in. I already have 3 kids and have thought about getting a vasectomy but I remember from my lurking days how one miscer made a thread saying how his body was not absorbing his man juice after the operation so he had to clear his pipe on a daily basis or else his stuff would clump up in his testicles and cause pain. Is that shett true? Would rather just buy condoms than to have to deal with that crap.

I don't know how it is over there but you can't even have a decent life unless you are a dual income household over here.

Not true at all. The man juice comes from the prostate. Just no more sperm in it. If you don't want anymore kids...it's the way to go. Don't trust any other method.

It's one thing for a man to not want kids... but a woman must be fuked in the head, what a failure of the female gender.

A female using logic instead of emotion for a change is a win in my book.

No self respecting man would ever put himself in a situation he didn't want to be in for 18yrs. A self respecting man would ensure that he did not contribute to the problem of unwanted children in this world

I disagree, strong family values and a love of children are no.1 on the list of qualities I *would* look for in a life partner.

What must have happened in her life that she isn't looking for children?

I know only know 1 woman personally that isn't having children, she was abused and later adopted... hence my point, they must have some sort of problem.

It's happening more and more nowadays. If she was with a guy whi wanted kids she would probably have them. But I have spent 5+ years retraining her mind into thinking that kids will destroy our current awesome life (which they would )

You could say we'll good luck she will divorce you...but the percentages of that happening anyway were already against my favor, so might as well not bring a child into it.

Back then each family lived in a modest home, had one car, one TV without cable or satellite, no smart phones or internet bills, and maybe took one vacation a year to visit family.

Nowadays every family "needs" at least one car for every adult, several wall-sized TV's with $150/month cable or satellite, smart phones with data plans for every family member including young children, and to take several vacations a year to international destinations or expensive resorts.

I submit you can still live a comfortably on a single income if you reject modern society's expectations.

Totally subjective, and basted on "Keeping up with the Jones" mentality. Besides, one person's dual income is another person's single income.

Children need more thatn support, they need nurturing and guidance. This is the fundamental element that most people fail to sit down and consider. How many people do you know that took a class, lecture or read a single book on parenting? Most parents just end up winging it and doing a pretty dismal job in the process.
I want kids of my own one day. I want to be financially stable and have a healthy mind before i proceed with that. I also want to experience a great portion of life, so that I have the knowledge and maturity that to handle a child. Opie, having a child isn't the end of the world and looking at it that way is setting yourself up for doom. Having children is supposed to be like opening up a new world and experiencing childhood with them again and watching them grow. At least it's how I see it. So many POS parents out there that are not what having children is about. Not trying to talk you into anything brah, I just want you to see it from a different perspective.
Incorrect. People have kids for totally selfish reasons.

Perspicacity.

Sometimes a response is related. Sometimes it's indirect. Sometimes there's just a correlation where you have to figure out the relationship.

If I have to tell you that then you missed it (the meaning is contained in the thought), but at least you'll be better prepared for next time.

Try being man enough to take care of those things before hand. Bringing a child into the world is a monumental responsibility. It's not something to be taken lightly. No wonder so many kids these days are messed up.

There is a limit to what the world can sustain. People can't just keep multiplying like rabbits. OP and his spouse should be applauded for their foresight.
I didn't say to have kids. I don't really understand having children and don't want them either. What I said was, regardless of him not wanting to reproduce, it's rather extreme to have a surgical procedure to permanently eliminate his physiological ability to do so.

Use a fkin condom, put her on birth control or pull the hell out, no need to mutilate your reproductive system in order not to have them.

Well, I have boned plenty of chics raw and pulling out has never failed me. But hey what's done is done, if you are content with your choice, don't matter what me or anyone says here. I am just sharing my opinion. I probably want children even less than you do, but a vasectomy is not even a remote option to me.

Which makes which one of you more likely to achieve his goal? You should admire him -- I do. With all the single parent families and deadbeat dads out there its hard to feel otherwise.
