Met some refugees in the past year too, they seemed like good people who were very grateful for the help they've received.

Srs, if you're truly concerned about the children then you should adopt them from Syria. Why? Because the biggest favor you could do for them is stripping their fuk'd up theology from them. Adopt them and raise them to be atheist, jewish, christian, doesn't matter. That's the real solution. It's nice you want to help, ESPECIALLY the kids, but god damn there is a problem with the chit they believe, and I really do feel bad for them. I hate Islam, not Muslims.

I think there's a better chance the poster with 2000+ posts on a bb forum goes home to his basement. Do some math (probably difficult with someone with below average intelligence such as yourself) and see how long it would take for Muslims to outnumber "whites" in this country. Or what the implications are (hint have a look at Dearborn which is one of the most densely populated middle eastern neighborhoods outside the Middle East).

Why would M103 specifically target Muslims and not the Native Americans who have been receiving systematic racism and hate in our country for over 100 years? Because Muslims are in our Canadian politics and Native Americans are not.

Point is western non-muslims have a declining birth rate. Muslims have a booming birth rate. Mosques are coming up, the likes of you will be declining. Muslims will become the majority just like mexicans are booming in the south and most of the announcements in the stores are now in Spanish.

Yeah, it might not happen in the next 5-10 years but your kids and grandkids will be foreigners if they do not convert.

Repped. Good for you OP. This is a very touchy subject with everything that's going on in the world, and I understand where people are coming from on both sides of the issue. It's very easy to give you chit like "help out your own people" and "these are bad people" but at the end of the day you're offering a helping help which I tip my hat to. With all the negative attention those people receive, I think that a lot of people fail to realize there are genuinely good people over there dealing with problems that aren't their fault. It's devastating seeing all the children effected by war and turmoil and growing up in first world countries, it's very easy to take for granted not having to worry about being bombed on daily basis. Politics aside, at the end of the day you are helping change the course of some random children's lives and hopefully they value your compassion and empathy one day. Love to see this OP, cheers

If a Syrian refugee family (mother and young children, no father) are in the street here in the brutal Quebec winters and need a place to stay, perhaps I'd set up cots in my garage, the kids can learn how to play drums, and lift weights.

Thats a great attitude and experience but I am very concerned for our counrty's future well being. Millions of dollars spent on this Syrian thing when we have people suffering in our own country.n Dip**** Trudeau was only worried about the photo ops when the Syrians showed up (I was there working and it was such a sham). These people will form communities within our communities and not bring anything to make canada better. We dont call for assimilation in this country and it results in very divided subcultures. In 50 years this country will be a mess and in a civil war.
