Under 5 miles is a cakewalk, so unless you're really hammering it, the need for showers at work is not that much of an issue. Otherwise, some employer provide as a matter of course (hotels).
Others are forward thinking environmentally responsible (Google) and recognize that a healthy employee is a happy employee. Still, others may provide them if encouraged.

Just some shorts and a tee short work just fine.

Man, I love cycling everywhere. Burn fat, not oil. I have a car but only drive it if necessary. Feels good. Sun, vitamin D, buring calories, getting cardio in, nice tan, etc.

lmao this is kinda why I misc. A lot of people have similar thoughts to me that they wouldn't express elsewhere.
I also have an almost irrational passionate hatred towards cyclists on the road. They just act so entitled.
I wouldn't have a problem with them if they didn't wheel up to the front of the road at a red light.
I put in all this effort just to cross you and now it's a red light so you just wheel to the front and now I have to cross you again. Fukn rustles the hell out of me. Why not just wait in line like all the other cars? If there's a designated bike lane then sure wheel to the front all you want, but if there isn't why would you act like such an inconsiderate as*hole?
I already did everything in my power to make sure to not run you over while driving by and then you act like that?

Honestly everyone needs to find a happy medium. I like to bike to places in the summer but I wouldn't ride down a street with 50 cars all lined up and stopped. I'm skerrrting on the sidewalks

Let's not forget about how many pedestrians there are versus cyclists also.
Taking 2010 casualty data for comparison's sake, the cyclist KSIs for that year totalled 467, out of around 179 million trips taken for the year. Pedestrian KSIs totalled 913 out of 2.15 billion walking trips for the year.
In other words, there were 2,609 cycling KSIs in London per one billion trips in 2010. For pedestrians, there were 425 KSIs in London per one billion trips in 2010. For fatalities, there were 56 deaths per one billion trips for cyclists. For pedestrians, the total was 27 deaths per billion trips.

Can get to places just as quick/if not quicker (within reason ofc) because of less traffic/shortcuts
Fun/feels good man

Get assaulted by motorists because you think a bike gives you entitlement to be a dickhead

It's obviously relevant to the context of 'not sweating' and 'not having the cardio required to not sweat' whilst riding a bike, because in the Netherlands, riding those bikes are done at almost walking pace, since they are built for practicality and comfort.
Are you seriously that dense??
Fukking simpletons I swear.

Walking pace? What is this.
Have you ever been to the Netherlands?
Moms drive their bikes while carrying groceries, 3 kids and a phone at 20mph+ it's insane
