Theres an old dude in my gym that must be in there for ~3 hours walking around doing one set on every single machine
And having these overly happy/positive convos with every person, always cracking jokes and LOLing as he walks to the next machine

Annoying as hell but I feel sorry for him as the gym and all that positive interaction must be his feel good drug

- angry middle aged men who go to the gym just to mean mug and send cutthroat stares at the bench area

- using the only smith machine in the gym to do 5x10 incline bench press sets with 5 minute rest sessions between each set

- this one dumbass that super sets between two of the most popular machines in the gym and refuses to let anyone else work in between his sets

- people who throw their towels on a piece of equipment to think they've reserved it and then walk off for 5 minutes

Nothing really bugs me but I do notice that people will do every exercise but squats and deads. its like they go out of their way to not do them.

-People who stand right infront of the DB rack to do curls or whatever. Just take 5 steps back so others can get weights, you'll still be able to see yourself in the mirror i promise.
-People who go infront of the only squat rack in the gym to use the area and mirrors for lunges or some sht. Literally any other place for that would work, but they choose right infront of the squat rack.
-People who wear sweatshirts. Unless it's winter and legit cold in there, there is no reason for this. 10x worse are the people who not only wear a sweatshirt, but put the hood on as well. seriously, wtf? Do you think you're a bad boy bodybuilder or something?
-People who wear hats. Typically they are tools.

How has cell phone use not been mentioned? That is the #1 thing the get's to me.

I go to a crowded gym and that chit pisses me the fuark off. Browse ******** on your own time fatarse, you're taking up a bench. in b4 "I'm recording my set brah."

Other than that, I keep to myself. I don't give a chit about what anyone else is doing. If you're obnoxiously dropping weights within 5' of me, I'm going tell you to lift weights you can handle. Had someone drop a weight and it rolled into me once during my set. Never again.

- sit on a machine with phone/texting. literally for 5 mins straight. i'm a patient person. i just sit behind them staring at them. but most of the time, they don't even notice me. but i remain calm, and when they leave, i just get on the machine, and continue my workout

- the people who smell very bad. talking extreme here. some smell is okay. but i'm talking about the 2-3 meter radius circumference type

- the one's who walk VERY close to a machine that i'm working out on (while working out on it), and they are inches away from my range of motion (this rustles me for some reason). not only machines, even free weights like shoulder press with dumbells or bench. there is so much room to walk across, but they insist on walking very close to almost getting in the way. imo, this is just a 'dominance' thing in the gym. territorial stuff.

- tbh, not much else i can think of. i'm mostly doing my own thing. and it doesn't rustle me at all when i see people doing dumb workouts/dangerous stuff.

People who don't rack their weights fuking piss me the fuk off. I feel bad when some poor little girl just wants to do a light set and has to take off like six 45's because some ego lifter had to do one set of 2.

People who stand in front of my mirror space. I need the mirror when doing rows and OHP to make sure I have correct symmetry. I tried to do a 110 lb OHP and this dikhead walked right in front of me and I raged hard.

Guys who wear belts for every exercise, usually old guys doing lat pulldown or bench.

Skinny dudes or fat guys who think they're hard when doing cheat ego lifts. Bar going down halfway on bench, matrix floating during lockout,etc.

I really enjoy my gym time and take it seriously but I get really upset too easily.
