It's not hypocrisy.

We're talking about a minutes silence for some civilised, western lives here.

All those who die in Syria etc probably watch public executions with hard-ons on the daily. Hard to have sympathy for murderous scum who live and die in a battlefield.

Fuk them.

This was only mentioned just before the start of the game. It was unclear for the saudi's what the moment of silence was, because it's not a custom for them. Of course we have respect for the victims, but we show that with prayers and love. We (the technical staff) didn't know of anything. We could only react from the moment that the refery gave the sign'.

Also, watching the vid, their team was silent. They probably spread out due to the confusion, but didn't act like chimps or anything. Just because they don't stand in line with each other, it doesn't count anymore?

While we are at it, where was the moment of silence for Kabul (150 deaths 1-2 day prior)? or Tehran? Or any other city that is bombed on the daily? ****ing hypocrites.
I completely agree brah. Although on your last point - it's natural for people to care more about those who are closer to them. That isn't to say that it's good to only have a moment of silence for those who are close proximity to you, but it's just human nature. The masses will never care about the African children dying by the million as much as they care about their friends and family from their own country.

So what you're saying is, that it's only a issue worth having a moment of silence for, if is directly related to your country? **** those Brits amirite? Strong mindset. 150 human beings killed in kabul, 2 human beings killed in london, X human beings killed in whoknowswhere. It's not us vs them, we're all the same.
Football game in Australia... Australians died... Australians have a minute of silence for their dead citizens.

If Australia played football in Iran and Iranians held a minutes silence for the dead of their terrorist attacks.. Australia would respect that and hold minutes silence.

I don't know what level of retardation you plebs operate on, but it truly is outstanding.
A true retard (like yourself) would disregard everything what I just said and what their Dutch western trainer said, about miscommunication and rather believe that the saudi team did this on purpose. Because a true retard (like yourself) knows way better why and how something happened, then the persons themselves. And if that person explains it, a true retard (like yourself) just chooses not to believe it because he doesn't like them.

Only 21 yo and already a hating miserable sad ****. How about you go outside for once and mingle with other people chap.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.

A significant portion of Muslims support terror attacks against non-Muslims. Disgusting.

Firstly, observing a minute of silence for any event whatยญโ€™ soever is an act of the kuffaar. It is a futile act of drivel which is tantamount to shirk. Observยญing a minute of futile silence in kuffaar style is Tashabbuh Bil Kuffaar (emulation of the kufยญfaar). With regard to such emulation, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: โ€œWhoever imitates a naยญtion is of them.โ€

This method of commemoยญrating something or someone or a dead person or an idol, etc. has absolutely no relationยญship with Islam. It is a method of ,pure โ€˜kufr and shirk. From whence did these misguided beings extract this futile pracยญtice? Its futility is accompanied by the grave crime of Tashabยญbuh. This aggravating factor renders this one minute silence haraam.

This. The east doesn't revolve around the West and the whole moment of silence nonsense (except if a player, coach or legend etc dies) and politics shouldn't be in sports to begin with. Stick it to the funerals.

How do you know some of the westerners who died weren't closet peados and some of the Syrians were closet agnostics who were going to come up with the cure for cancer?

Oh, you don't.

That's totally disrespectful.

I doubt Saudis are so retarded that they didn't even know what standing still in silence for a god damn minute means.
