I dunno bra.. not saying you NEED to travel to broaden perspective, theres a lot of ways to do this but I really think travelling (in some cases) can give you unique views and experiences you wouldn't get by staying in the same place.
And yes humans are all the same in some ways but very different in other ways in different places

Playing the guitar badly, wearing beads, talking about one love, pretending you're friends with Central American villagers, who, by the way, despise you, before heading to your parents' five-bedroom house in Surrey, doesn't make you a spiritual person, it makes you a bellend. It's just a way to seem interesting to girls because deep down, you're boring and pretentious, like your stupid ****ing dreadlocks, which, by the way, always look embarrassing on white people. They're not countercultural. They scream, "I've got a trust fund." So get a normal haircut, you unbearable pricks.

They remind me a bit of those women who never shut up about being pregnant for the first time, as if they're the only person in the history of man to carry child.
I have travelled extensively for business and pleasure. I have lived abroad for 3 years in three separate countries for work. I can honestly say that travelling is in fact slightly overrated. Keep in mind that the travel industry is a huge business. It spends millions trying to convince people that this is where they should blow their disposable income - just like any other industry out there.

Obviously travelling can broaden your perspective on life, etc however ignore the preaching kunts. Do whatever the fuk YOU want to do. A lot of hippy travellers out there... some of them don't actually like it that much. They are just drinking the kool aid and seeking validation on social media...

PS: sightseeing sucks ass. Most of it anyways. BRB feeling like a god damn cow being processed in huge line ups to see some old ass buildings you don't give a fuk about...

At the end of the day, nobody gives a fuk what you do. People trying to convince you to do x, y, z are just seeking the satisfaction of making you do the same chit they do to validate their own choices.

How about you learn how to read and you wouldn't still be in the red?

I clearly have no problem with travellers/travelling. Only those who act as if they are somehow more enlightened than others.

Ok. I will discuss the Euro side of it.

People travel to different countries or continents 3-4 times a week (thats what 30-40 payed holidays plus bank holidays gets you...). Some people return as douchebags : omg you would not beleive, bla bla, so inspirational.

Other people return: looks like a nice place to relax, spend some money, would like to do business there.

Most people are on the first group.

Sightseeing:
- get an SUV or sports car
- travel through europe,
- see stuff in cities during normal people working times
- enjoy the weekends

no need to wait in queues

lol at people having a go at travelling smh. It isn't travel that is the problem here. The problem is the personality of the people that you are all complaining about.

These people are narcissists, and the type of person who are just after attention and trying to make people envy them. This could be thru travel, career, relationships, financials, materialistic items, anything. Nothing to do with travel.

The kind of people who have a profile photo on social media of them leaning on a luxury sports car which isnt theirs, in the hope a few people will think it is.

Nothing to do with travel at all.

Because *******s think by traveling they are making themselves better people. Traveling means nothing. In fact, what actually means something is finding happiness where you are, and isolationism.

Also implying don't bother going anywhere just stay where you are and get ahead in work?
Doesn't sound like a real fulfilling life to me but each to their own.
