I don't respect your 8 inch squat. You will never understand these 20 inch femur struggles.

The only thing I'm jealous of is that a guy can lift in peace and workout relatively invisibly, if he so chooses.
(..and if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's probably a reference..)

Optimal workout gains. You'd only catch my attention, no one elses.

If you are deterred by your goal to be an elite powerlifter, because you must weigh more then I don't think it was much of a goal in the first place. The 5'6" jacked manlet weighing over 200 is in "unhealthy realm weight levels" as well.
you do have a point there my friend

[QUOTE=CodyZellery post_id=1509789641]Yeah right. You hate the attention you're getting. And it's not even so much about getting approached in that way in the gym (or that constant feeling of being watched--hence the relative invisibility guys can have..if they want it), it's also about guy's just coming over and getting involved in your workout, "c'mon! one more rep!" Asking if you compete, etc. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself, just that since I don't wanna be rude, now I gotta talk. And sometimes (most of the time) you just don't want to. Is what I mean.

Not true unless you're talking about the avg joe. If you're jacked as fk, other men will stare at you when you're doing sets or just walking around. Chances are other men will respect that man and want to ask for advice or just want to befriend him or it'll be the opposite and you get the envy, happens all the time. Or he will be done with his set and a random dude from half way accross the gym will ask if you're done with a machine when its obvious you're finished lol.

Look at any swole dude doing his sets, guarantee you will have *******s around him just staring. Unless you're completely antisocial you will get dudes giving you that head nod or try and make small talk in a gym you go regularly.

This is true, very jacked guys get attention.

I will say that simple attention aside, women get WAY more men coming up to us and trying to explain thing to us than we'd like. I hate it when dudes try to approach me when I'm doing snatch grip deadlifts and correct my form. Like no. My hands are supposed to be like that. Meanwhile there's this guy coming in every week who straps on a belt, loads up the bar with like three plates, and does the most pathetic quarter squats you've ever seen. Plus deadlifts that are alllll lower back. I'm waiting for him to go snap city, but of course the brosplainers aren't up in HIS business.

Are you implying I'm not good-looking enough to get approached by random women and men at the gym?
