I don't see anything wrong with acknowledging that we are different. I'm not colorblind, I see color before anything else, but I don't let that be ALL that I see.
With meditation, reading, and life experience such as living both in the "the hood" then moving to the suburbs, I've learned that we truly are all individuals. I've disliked people on sight for absolutely no reason, because I stereotyped them to be a certain way, then I learned how wrong I was upon actually meeting them. We all have our own story & path. I think it would do us all well, to remember that each story is unique, and to treat people as such. I will give everyone respect, until they give me reason not to.

How to handle rejection? I haven't had anybody agree to do anything with me in 2 years srs. I feel like it's because I'm ugly or not fun to be around. I'm starting to become upset when I smile at / greet a stranger and I get ignored. It's affecting my mental well-being.

Books you may want to read:
The Subtle Art of Not Giving A ****
How to Win Friends & Influence People
I believe that these books are common sense, but common sense aint common.

Recently graduated college with my Bachelors. My career goal is to work in law enforcement and I'm currently going through the hiring process at a big city department but my biggest dream has always been to serve in the military alongside the most badass and elite soldiers. I'm planning on going to a recruiter and asking for a Ranger contract, should I set aside this opportunity to start out my law enforcement career early since I'm already going through the process? Or put that aside, enlist and risk the very real possibility of failing the selection process, and get recycled into some random unit and waste 4 years doing something I didn't initially want to do?

Can you pass the physical tests & demands that's required to become an Army Ranger?
Have you ever shown signs of being a quitter?
You look heavy in your avi so that's why I ask.
I had similar goals & purposely cut weight while I was training for the PT. I ended up at 160lbs and was able to do everything that was asked of me with confidence.
Also, study up on what you need to; so that you don't get stuck where you don't want to be.
If it's Ranger or bust, then you better take as much time as you need to prepare yourself. You say it's a dream though, and no dream can be attained without taking risks.

I followed something similar when I was getting myself ready for a few weeks, but then I just did my own thing. I was lifting 4 days and running 7 days. My "off day" was a light 1 mile jog.
Just so you could see a trend of what I was doing:
week 1
M: 2 mile run
T: 2 mile run
W: 4 mile run
T: 2 mile run
F: 2 mil Run
S: 5 mile run
Sun: 1 mile jog
week 2
M: 2 mile run
T: 3 mile run
W: 3 mile run
T: 4 mile run
F: 2 mile run
S: 6 mile run
Sun: 1 mile jog
Then it got to the point where I tried to hit a certain # of miles per week like 20-25, or 28-30. I just slowly kept increasing and eventually I was running 8 miles 2-3x a week on the track.
TLDR: The best thing I can tell you to do is get out there and start running. I don't mean on a treadmill either, because you wont be running on a treadmill out there. At least you have a good size for it. Getting in cardiovascular shape shouldn't take too long
