There's a movie theater in town here where the rows are seperated by a wall so you can't see anybody in the row in front of you.

Chairs recline to full horizontal like a lay-z-boy too. After going to this particular theater, it's very very difficult to go back to the normal ones. I'd pay $30/ticket for the experience, but its only $6 if you go before noon.

I never watched the original or read the book, but I thought it was pretty good. It did seem to get a little repetitive and was a little too long but overall a solid movie.

The original was around 3.5 hours long. Hence they they are making a chapter 2. The original was a dual VHS box. Just like Titanic.

They didn't even have that in the original. It would be too much for pussy america to handle.

Rarely have this problem on opening weekends here. A few weeks after a movie comes out is when I usually run into trouble with people feeling safer being disruptive in a less crowded theater.

It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley

Not a fan of cinemas. I prefer watching movies alone.

Seriously baffled at how successful cinemas are.

Just heard on NPR that the movie theater industry is 1/10 what it was 70 years ago. RIP movie theaters.

Is that why they've been jacking up the prices continuously?
