Great Posts. My friends and I rode our bikes everywhere. We has this very large park with hiking trails and dirt paths we would roam through all the time. Always outside. Parents always wondered "what did we do all day?". We never caused trouble, but it was like real freedom. At the end of mosts days I would sleep real good, too. Really miss the childhood/adolescence days for sure.

Remember my dad always renting low budget action movies on VHS from the dollar rental. I would sit and watch the movies with him and it never failed, somehow there was always a pair of boobs flashed. My dad would always run to hit the fast forward button on the VCR. (No remote at that time) Lol.

Right in the 80´s feels. I guess every generations thinks the same about their childhood, but 80´s and 90´s where the GOAT decades to be a kid, technology was delivering new and amazing things unseen just a decade before (walkman, arcades, videogames, movies with amazing FX) but kids still had scars in their knees from old school games and crazy things kids are supposed to do.

70's and 80's were the good old days. Walking across street to the record store with my brother to buy Kiss Alive 2. Hanging at the pool all day with friends in summer. Roller skating, riding bike, learning how to skateboard from watching my brother. We were outside all day, in for dinner and back out til dark. So glad we didn't have cellphones and social media back then. I feel bad for my kid not getting to experience such carefree times.

I usually avoid these threads because it brings back too much nostalgia. I want to go back!!! My childhood consisted of 3 games I still play to this day; Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda OOT, and Final Fantasy VII. And of course, biking and playing outside even after the sun went down.

In.
Still remember when a friend and I were driving into town from picking up a CD.
Me:"Ryan, where is everyone tonight?"
Ryan: "I don't know, wouldn't it be great if we had one of those huge cell phones to figure it out?"
Me: "Ahh man, that would be awesome!"
