I remember getting the popcorn from Blockbuster.

Was a big fan of Goosebumps. Would go through the whole book in a day.

And NES was my first video game console at 4 years old.

I remember during the summers in the late 90's my friends and I would get up almost every day by like 9 am, and play outside all day. Sadly, most kids these days around the age of 11-13 prob sleep in til 12pm. Then get up go on social media then play video games. A routine day for us would be...

-Wake up at like 9 am

-Breakfast..then ride our bikes around this trail by the lake near our neighborhood.

-Lunch then hit the pool...

-Play tag or hide and seek in the neighborhood til about 9pm

-Sleepover party at a friends and play Goldeneye, Mario Kart, and Mario Party til like 1 am(We used to think that was so late)

-Do it all over again

Fuark...miss the 90's carefree such a better time.

building bike ramps to do tricks
destroying all the grass in each others yards with all the pickup football games
knowing all of my friends home phone numbers and still remember some despite not calling them for 12+ years
meeting up to play pokemon or n64
watergun and water balloon wars
giving the one kid with a CD burner $1 and a blank CD for a copy of whatever we wanted

just a taste of the chit i remember from like 9-12 years old.

Remember we'd just knock on our neighborhood friend's door without calling? Just literally ride your bike or walk and knock on their door. NOBODY does that anymore because of cell phones. Also, if we had to call we actually memorized phone numbers. Still can list off like 10 of my best friends' old home numbers.

Always stayed thin as a kid because of the exercise.... bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, pogo sticks, touch football, playing bball. I'd wake up early on Saturdays to watch cartoons and then the neighborhood kids would be outside like clockwork. Sometimes we'd be punks and ding dong ditch or toilet paper another kid's house.

Today's kids are depressing.

Fuark I still remember watching my older brother play Zelda II and dragon warrior on NES. I didn't even want to play I just wanted to watch him. Back then lots of games remained unbeaten because their was no internet to watch videos or look up strategys or secrets. I remember we didn't beat Zelda II until the 90s because nobody knew how to get to the end.

Lol remembering earth worm Jim for snes, megaman for NES. Super MARIO kart on SNES. Excitebike. Lol fuk those old games were the chit.

Fuark, strong memories brah. I'm a bit out of touch with what today's kids do, but when I talk to parents about it - they tell me going outside playing, roaming the neighborhood for hours and coming back for dinnertime -- all that stuff is almost non-existent.

Parents are afraid to let kids go anywhere, they stay inside playing on the iPad and just constantly want to play more iPad. To be fair, when I got my first Nintendo or handheld video games I always wanted to play it too. But my parents wouldn't let me - I'd spend 90% of my time outside building treehouses and playing with the other kids.
