srsly what does all life have in common? it survives to replicate. That is the purpose of life. Everything else is an abstraction of that one basic idea. Everything else we do was meant to support that one basic goal. That's why we love sex so much. We evolved to love sex. That's why so many people define their lives around their kids. Life is literally about raising kids.
If you voluntarily invest energy in your own survival without fathering children, you are literally cucking yourself. You are investing your own energy in someone else's reproductive success since you contribute to the economy. Think about it. A phucking rapist who fathers kids is considered better than you from an evolutionary standpoint. You lose the evolutionary game.
If you want to cuck yourself, go right ahead, but Javier is winning. If you people knew anything, you'd take measures to stop Javier from having kids while having your own. Those brutal warmongers who killed all the men and took their women had the right idea. People like Genghis Khan were the most successful humans, while men like Isaac Newton never fathered children. It's a cuck or be cucked world bro.

Threads like this pop up about once a week.
Kids are DEFINITELY not for everyone. Have 2 kids now, and financially, we're stable. Money isn't really an issue, and can't imagine how much more stress that would put on everything if money was always a concern.
Second is a few months old. I'm more involved with the second ... holding him more, changing more diapers, helping put him to bed, etc. I'm able to enjoy those moments that went by with a blur with the first since we didn't know what we were doing. Hard to explain that feeling of picking up your crying child, comforting him, and watching him fall asleep in your arms.
Both kids are relatively easy to care for. But even so, it's the hardest thing I've had to do, and most days it's a struggle. Didn't marry until my 30's, so was set in my ways. Kids change everything, especially, multiple kids. Forget about having time to yourself, until late in the evenings. You have to always be with them, entertain them, take them to their activities. There's no more you time. You constantly have to clean up after them ... change diapers, clean up after they eat, clean up their toys, it's endless. For sanity sake, it's good to be on a schedule, but after a while, that schedule becomes monotonous, and can start to drive you crazy.
I used to be an easy going, laid back bro. Kids have made me angry a lot ... have to discipline and try to teach them stuff. It's not something I enjoy, and is frustrating to me most times. Disciplining and getting on them is probably the hardest part. Then there are the play dates with other parents and their kids. Not something I find very enjoyable. Not sure how I'll make it through the next 18 years, but I take it one day at a time. A lot of times, I question my ability to be a good dad. At the very least, I can provide a roof, food, and opportunities that I never had. Love my kids, but think long and hard on whether it's for you or not.

When I was a kid my mother sent us outside and told us to be back by dinner.
They never schlepped us around we made our own fun.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Adoption of an older kid is always a choice.
My grandpa told me that one thing he wish he would have done after his wife passed was adopt a child and raise him to be a proper man.

one is losing the evolutionary game and the other is winning....what kind of mental gymnastics have u cucked urself into
those of u who dont have kids or adopt without fathering ur own are literally cucks. you are investing your own energy and resources in someone else's reproductive success over your own. There is no greater sin in the eyes of nature than to be a cuck *******. Your genes will be deleted from the pool so that there will be more selfish phuckers who spawn more offspring. Their replication strategies are more successful than yours. As a conscious lifeform, you can choose not to play the evolutionary game, but then you are allowing one tiny aspect of your existence, your conscious mind, to hold back your body. Your body will keep trying to survive and replicate whether your mind functions properly or not. Remember that. we evolved minds specifically because they were helpful for us to develop better strategies for survival and replication.
To put it bluntly, when you grow older and your survival is no longer guaranteed, you will regret not passing your genes on to offspring. Javier will beat you at the game.

How will I ever afford trips all over the world (or take said trips with a toddler)? How will I ever afford that sweet man cave? How will I ever have time to spend with the boys or even doing half the cool chit I'd like to do?
These are all reasons not to have a child. If u don't mind sacrificing these things, then have a kid.

How did it work out... and how do you feel about it? Please be 100% honest.

I'm 28 (stats are wrong) - in a 7 year relationship with my gf who I'm really happy with. Have our own house, 2 cats and a dog. Life is pretty much perfect right now.
She's been desperate for a baby for the past 3 years or so. But I'm so indecisive on this it's ridiculous (and I know it's a dealbreaker) - I have a niece who I love spending time with... but part of me is glad when my sister picks her up if that makes sense.
It's such a chit feeling not knowing if you want a kid or not. Throw away a relationship with someone who you imagine spending the rest of your life with.... Or bring a baby into this world with the chance that you might completely regret it.

I will never feel the same way about my niece as I do my own son. But don't do something you genuinely don't want to do just to appease someone else. If this girl means that much to you, just have a sit down with her and talk it out, and then do some thinking by yourself and decided what YOU want. I love being a dad, but it's not for everyone.
