Bud tastes like stale piss, Blue moon tastes like stale piss with hints of coriander & overwhelming wheat. That's why.

If you have to drink bud. At least go for bud light, it tastes better, because it tastes like water and water is better than piss. Srs.

IPA's taste like sour hoppy piss, just want to put that out there too.

If you have to go for a "mainstream" beer I would recommend Coors Light or Heineken as they both taste ok and will get you drunk.

If you want to drink beer for the taste but still want fairly cheap and accessible go with Sam Adams, Guinness, or Fosters. They're all pretty good. Sam Adams makes the best cheap craft beer as well by a long shot, everyone else makes 90% IPA's now cuz the hipsters took over the craft beer industry.

If you want a real good beer that's a little pricier, look up Chimay or local crafts that aren't IPA's.

Sam Adams, they have seasonal packs with 12 beers of six types, can find for $15-20 at most grocery stores or Walmart. Their fall and winter packs are always good, lots of lagers and dark malty beers, their Winter Lager is outstanding.

The beer snob thing grinds my gears sometimes because you have the counter culture people that only drink Bud Light and PBR because they don't want to appear pretentious.

Better beer is better beer. I understand the gripe with some random overly hoppy IPA. However there are tons of delicious beers that are twice and strong as Bud an twice as delicious..

There is a place for every type of beer though. I will take an ice cold Corona in a tropical area any day.

Ill second this. My favorite type of beer are Belgian style quads, tripples. I drank 6 Golden Monkeys a few weeks ago and was hammered.
German beers are great as well. Weinstephaner makes really good beer.

IPAs are hit or miss. There are a ton more bad IPAs than good. Dogfish makes good readily accessible IPA.

Honestly, find a local brewery and go one weekend. Most of them will do some kind of tour and/or tasting. Do that at a couple and start to see what gets your attention or what you enjoy.

I like trying the many different beers but im no snob about it. Most of the time if I like something I wont ever drink it again because ill just get whatever the next time.

Budweiser doesnt taste the best but if its at a party and its there I will drink it. Cause its beer

4 pages and not one mention of sours and Lambics. Not in to them myself.

Former beer snob, not anymore, Bud does lack flavor and to me, I try to avoid them for the way they try to push out craft taps at businesses. But, I will be after some BCBS on Friday.


Edit...I find that people who drink adjunct lagers to be snobbier than, the craft beer snobs. I've offered many Bud/Coors drinkers a drink and they always talked it down and **** craft beer. Just an observation.

I just don't really like lagers that much. Although I drank about 300 Peronis in Rome last week.

I like Stouts and Porters and the occasional IPA. But I like smooth session IPAs....these ridiculously bitter IPAs that are a contest to see who can pucker your mouth inside out the most are getting out of hand. I also resent IPAs because now that they are popular with hipster *******s they fill the beer aisle at the grocery store and its impossible to find many stouts and porters without going to a specialty store.

I'll drink most beers you put infront of me, but budlight is my cheap go to and what I get 95% of the time.
We have a town close to here that brews their own stuff (don't know the difference between the beers). It taste good but its whatever, beer is beer.

Beer snobs are as annoying as Vegans, crossfitters, and hybrid owners.

When you get a haughty snooty connoisseur in any subject, they just sound like absolute *******s to everyone else.

In general, talking chit about something is a sign of being a *******. Budweiser is a great beer. Good to keep stocked in the fridge or bring a few tall cans along on a hunting trip. If you want a fruity seasonal beer and you like to taste different flavours, you can do that too, and you can also do it without being a kunt about it. who knew?

anyway, I don't drink alcohol except under very special circumstances, enjoy you're rotting livers and brains and domestic abuse guys

By acting as a critic to drinking beer in general, I out did the beer snobs, and it was kind of repulsive wasn't it? No one likes being looked down upon, especially for normal behaviour that doesn't really deserve to be looked down upon. Another great example of this is the democrats and their virtue signalling - calling literally anyone who hasn't rimmed a negro a racist, and how did that work out for them?

TLDR: Bud's fine, and snobby people are hated by literally everyone, even eachother
