I typically only drink craft beer now (no snob), but Budweiser is good for what it is. If I'm simply drinking to get drunk, I'm more than happy to do it with Budweiser. I legitimately like Bud Light Platinum.

Because if you’re drinking a heavier beer there’s much better beers than Budweiser. If you’re just trying to get piss drunk bud lights work cuz they’re water lol. Haven’t drank Budweiser since highschool. Oh and it’s expensive relative to other beers that do the same thing

I never drank budweiser, but after a huge craft beer phase, I decided to say f-it and tried one on draft. Its good. Solid Beer. For a domestic, its up there.


There also seems to be a delusion that craft beer = bitter. That could not be more far from the truth.

Budweiser used to have formaldehyde in it from the cans.

They don't use formaldehyde anymore, but people got used to the taste so now they artificially flavor Budweiser like formaldehyde. That's a good reason not to drink it (unless you enjoy that flavor?).

Do whatever you want; I don't care. lol. The way the thread title and OP are worded, I took it as more of a "Why don't beer snobs like Bud?" than "Why do beer snobs feel the need to chit all over Bud drinkers?" I agree that many can be beer snobs can be unnecessarily overbearing pretentious kunts, but if you have a conversation with someone who is passionate about beer you shouldn't really be surprised when they turn their noses up at cheap macro brews. If someone offers me a free beer, the only requirement is cold.
