He's a very limited actor, but back when he was trying to make it (until after T2 was a phenomenon) he would try to improve. All the thought and effort he put into playing a robot in Terminator. Harder than you think to get all the details right & he aced it.

I saw the Conan movie with Jason Momoa and I thought it was decent. I have no interest in the Terminator movies.

IMO, Statham is a solid actor. I love The Transporter movies, Killer Elite, The Mechanic movies, Safe, the Crank movies, and The Italian Job.

For terminator he learned to reload blindfolded I believe.

Conan required a lot of training as well, you can tell with the way he wielded his sword. Plus, the first Conan movie bad no stunt doubles, and everyone suffered injuries, the blonde actress almost lost a finger I believe.
