Anyway, I was never a big Will Smith fan, but I think the MIB trilogy was OK -- mostly because of Tommy Lee Jones seriousness to balance things out.
On another note, I think Will Smith would have made a pretty good John Stewart in the JL movie.

But yeah, on it's own merits it was pretty good.

I don't plan on watching. Netflix makes boring movies.

If you're on the fence about seeing a movie in theaters and EVERY critic is saying "it sucks", you're less likely to go.
If you're on the fence about seeing a movie on Netflix you think "I'll just start it, and if it sucks I'll watch something else." You haven't committed $15 and 2 hours like seeing something in the theater. 2 clicks of the remote and you're on to another piece of content.
But the point of big budget movies like this is (presumably, since this isn't the sort of film aimed at winning Oscars) to either attract new subscribers, or improve existing subscribers value perception. So how do think critical reviews will impact that?

Just finished this. What a weird movie.
The action was pretty good so if you tune out and roll with it it's not bad.
Trigger warning: Lots of heavy handed diversity discussion at the beginning.
5.5/10, have a couple beers and don't take it seriously.

How is will smith still acting if he produced a son who still doesn't even know if his own eyeballs are real?

I like the fact that it's a unique and creative concept, but I can't say I'm interested in watching a movie with fairies and magic wands lmao. I think I'll skip this one.
