You need tons of data, and a decent computer. You can't do this on people where you only have 20 pictures from the same angle or similar lighting.

There's a program by the name of Melodyne DNA which to a degree can separate different elements from audio tracks

Of course it's not perfect, and it's limited, mainly by different frequencies (ex. high pitch frequencies are easier to separate from low vs. mid range).

But I don't see why not, and that type of technology should only get better, mind you that's just what 'Joe public' is able to get his hands on.
