Started this at 3:15 (probably not exactly), clock read 3:19 when I was finished with 9/10 correct. That did not seem that difficult tbh, I also think that there aren't enough questions for it to accurately assess your spatial reasoning.

Haven't taken an official test, but I'm kinda the same way.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/test...elligence-test

Got 90% on this but essentially bombed spatial recognition and creativity in another, still got a 112 or something on that one though.

Probably explains why I was always picked last in gym lol.

All I know is all these online IQ tests I do well on, but god damn do I hate how they make my brain hurt.

I think it's fairly straight forward to figure out a double versus triple digit IQ person IRL tho, we all know our resident fools who can't seem to get out of their own way.

This is a well-known cognitive bias called the Dunning–Kruger effect.

If this were a terminal disease, I'd have been dead long ago.

You're dead wrong about that. Look into the research on IQ and success. You'll find there is a very close relationship.

lol those don't necessarily correlate. brb, rote memory and all night study binges. I know more than a few STEM graduates who struggled but still got the degree.

Agreed. Plenty of high IQs out there. Doesn't mean they're all rocking billionaires or changing the world.
In fact, there are times when you don't want your high IQ to shine (Khmer Rouge type situations being an extreme example, less extreme would be just fitting in with your peers)
Remember all those genius kids on talk shows. Where they now?

ITT OP is too ashamed to post his actual double digit IQ so he rounds up to 100.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

I would like to take a real one just to know. I imagine it feels pretty good to be right down the middle though. you're neither gifted nor stunted which means you have no excuse for falling behind in the world but you're also not going to get ahead solely by your wit, meaning its on you to put in hard work to get ahead.
Dude.....no

This only reaffirmed to me that IQ is basically bullcht other than knowing your strengths and weaknesses. I’d even say I’d prefer to me 100 than 140 because plenty of genius’ I know cannot function. One guy knows 30. Languages, cannot drive and hasn’t his entire life...no thx jeff
Ehh I'm about at 130 from a legit test I had to take in order to get into a certain program as a kid; IQ coupled with a high level of emotional intelligence and you can be a force in many different avenues in life. High intelligence doesn't mean you're autistic...you'll just stick out without meaning too sometimes.

Intelligence is such a vague concept....I just don't see why people care about IQ that much. I also find it funny that all the 130-140+ IQers seem to come out in droves in these types of threads, but when threads featuring actual logic/math type problems come up on the misc, it's typically the same 3-5 people contributing (not the ones boasting about IQ in these types of threads, or all the introverted geniuses in other threads). Hmmm
