That is pretty debatable. You are aware that since the dawn of agriculture stature, brain size, and life expectancy (with infant mortality adjusted) has gone down? Countless things about our DNA, biology, and bio-mechanics indicate that we are designed to hunt and eat animals.

To your statement, you're right, animals do die from farming crops. The difference is, veganism is about limiting as much unnecessary animal suffering as possible. So if the goal is to prevent as much as possible, choosing plants over animals is vastly superior in terms of how many animal lives will be saved.

Yeah I have been to Vedge, it's great. Right down the road at the Whole Foods they had a place called Wiz Kid that makes vegan cheesesteaks and a few other things and they get their products and ideas from Vedge. I think it closed, but man, the Ruben sandwich I had there was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life.

the hardest parts of being vegan are finding things that are easy to make but good and budget conscious, maintaining enough meals throughout a workday and eating 'out'

lots of vegan food is less dense and heavy compared to meat (the only possible exception i can readily think of is Pasta and PB) so if im at work i need snacks between meals or the hours of work between wont be enough to hold over for the next meal without feeling uncomfortably hungry

i make it through without problem because i do not believe there is anything wrong with phytoestrogen from Soy and i eat lots of Peanut butter, make it into shakes, etc. beans and rice with hot sauce is a staple meal. i also eat lots of grains like oats and wheat, if i was trying to do some paleo vegan ****ery i would definitely not make it.

i am cutting back on plant based protein powder even though its a super easy snack because of the concentrated heavy metals, it is probably the only real danger of being vegan.

Most vegans and vegetarians I know are very fat and unhealthy looking. After seeing all of the videos on what’s done to animals I realize how horrible it is but what can we do? I’ve eaten meat my whole life and it’s the reason I’m so muscular. I saw an animal eat another one yesterday so wtf. I guess it’s the planet

If having a life is THE driving for of vegans not eating meat...

Do you kill flies? Roaches? Spiders? Bugs? Mice? Why? You'll kill something because YOU consider it a "pest" but not something that can supply you with sustenance? Makes no sense...

I don't understand the people in this thread talking about how they could never go vegan because they love beer too much. Beer is vegan you morons.

Why be vegan when you can be a vegetarian instead? It's about not eating animals after all.

There's a lot of delicious and nutritious ways to meet your fitness goals on a vegan diet. Of course, a right wing fitness forum is quick to dismiss this.

Because the creation of virtually all animal products result in animal death and suffering.
