After 3 weeks of being hyped and seeing Wakanda forever posts, I finally watched the movie to see if it was really good.

I would say it was worth the money but it was 7.5/10 at best. Not worth all the hype it's getting.

It's on the level of Thor Ragnarok that's it.

Saw it a few weeks ago, I'd say 7.5/10 at best. It's decent for what I came for - a superhero movie. That said, there are many flaws.

The funniest thing about this movie, is that it's the antithesis of what African nations/governance is really like.

Not surprised its doing that well. It was fine, nothing special, and definitely not as good as other Marvel movies. Merely because I dont care about the character "black panther", never paid attention to the comics due to him not being "cool", just like the fantastic four.

I feel like people are more angry or irritated at how obvious hollywoods agendas are, not the movie itself.

It was the greatest movie I ever saw and I didn't see any colors when I was watching it, they were all clear.

I thought it was a good and fun movie. Strong 7 out of 10. Definitely well made and Michael B was easily the best part of the movie. They should have included him in more scenes cuz the main character was boring compared to him. I'd say Black Panther is in the top 5 Marvel movies.

I'm surprised it's going to top the first two Avenger movies lol wtf. Having said that it was sold out in a couple of movie theaters when I tried to watch it a few days after it had come ojt. Never seen that before tbh I was able to walk in and get tickets for The Avengers first day after school when that came out.

Definitely not worth being the #1 at box office for superhero movies based on the movie itself. But I thought it was pretty good. Obviously the classic formulaic marvel movie. I also didnt look at it outside of what it really was. A disney marvel movie. I didnt care about the outside influence in it. I wanted to see it because I have been watching 10 years of this ish and been looking forward to this avengers team up against thanos for so long.

They didnt even push SJW stuff in the movie much at all. And heck, a white guy was a BIG hero in the movie. Maybe the most important player in wankandan tech not getting out to the world.

Both average films - even by comic book standards.

Infinity War looks a lot better than both just going by the trailer and Winter Soldier is comfortably better than them, as are all three of the Nolan films

Infinity will not shatter the record, not because its not going to be a way better movie but because the amount of support black panther got was from people who normally would not be in the mix. The same as obamas first election, I personally know people who voted for the first time specifically because he was black, just as people who know nothing of comics who went to see black panther because of the whole black cast/movie support.
