brb pay $2000 for a guitar of comparable quality to a $600 Ibanez. Except this one sort of looks like the one Slash used to play.

Not really, it was actually the opposite, Gibson strayed too far from thier core and tried dabbling into too many other markets and lost thier ass. They plan to liquidate everything and go back to just focusing on guitars, dont get all the gibson hate in here either. I have a strat and a les paul and both are awesome guitars.

Guitars were predominantly always sold on the premise that you would get laid if you played. That's changed nowadays. Now the standards are so high thanks to social media, playing a guitar isn't going to get you laid anymore

Guitars aren't as complex as a combustion engine, buying second hand is they way to go and I don't see the need to own a guit-fiddle that'll hold value over one that won't if they both allow me to perform.

Enter the Washburn N4. While a signature series, both the body and neck can be found easily on ebay and the electronics are dead simple. 2 humbuckers, selector, single volume, floyd rose (I blocked my tremolo), buzz feiten tuning system, and the most easily accessible neck via the stephens extended cutaway.





inb4 b-b-but it's not a AAAAA quilt top lacquered baseball bat neck tree of life les paul!
Yeah, but it doesn't cost $5k and my N4 was only $500 to put it all together.

I used to take guitar lessons when I was younger, but never really got in to it. string instruments are not my thing

Sad thing to see. When I was in HS, their was a wide variety of music that people liked. Now it's either hip hop or EDM chit.

Good riddance, I have 2 RIs from their good years. From 2008 up until now they've gone only downhill with that loony CEO who sucks at business strategies. They probably manufactured the last decent batch of LPs around that time, also

My schecter. I might get **** for this one but i love this guitar. I got this after i had been playing for 3 years so alot of fond memories with it. Alot of sentimental value. I got it b stock for like 500 bucks. Theyre 1k new. They dont make them in this color anymore.

Show me another guitar that you can buy with a maghony body, ebony fretboard and a floyd rose. Ill wait with quality pickups like the invaders for 500. Ill wait.

Happens when you keep marketing yourself as a dad guitar. 500$ worth of material at 5000$. Kids are getting poorer = no new guitarists.

However a lot of artists are switching to Epiphone. ESP is getting Gibsons old endorsers, same with Jackson.

Caparisons are the Gibson killers and they're usually like 3000 and well worth the money
