I don't know man I lose energy when I am alone too long. Lifting is all that keeps me going. I don't need to socialize much but I need some connections and friends so I can leave my house. Just a day out with friends every couple weeks would make me happy. I just don't know how I've never had a friend that wasn't an fa.

The fact that you linked that study tells me that you are trying to convince yourself to stay in your shell of being alone and inside your comfort zone. Your mindset is trash and you will never get anywhere if you are constantly persuading yourself to give up. I wish I could somehow brainwash a positive mentality onto you.

It comes down to confidence, that's the difference between you and the guy that's friends with everyone. He can start a conversation with a random person and be cool and friendly without giving a **** what they think of him. That's confidence. You can't fake that. Right now you're scared of being boring to others and that's why you use the anti-social introvert I don't want to talk to people line to rationalize. So go out and try talking to someone and build confidence in your social skills. You can't do anything to stop people judging you, just learn to stop giving a ****. Yeah you don't have friends and you feel bad because of it so you come and whine on bb.com. So what? Stop comparing yourself to other people and recognize that it's a process and that it takes practice and failure like everything else to get good at. So what if you have **** tier social skills/self esteem to begin with. Those are completely changeable. Life is all about making progress even if it's small.
Im 28 and I am starting to slowly building some social skills which I already had gained in college, but im passing through a bad phase in my life and have no idea how to go get the women I want.

Whats your advice for me?

I'm honestly convinced you're not going to make it eod. You never take accountability for anything, blame everyone else for all your problems, constantly complain about everything but never make an effort to change, complaining that people are *******s and you can't have conversations with anyone but at the same time you think you're better than everyone else.

Honestly, ridiculous. If you were serious about fixing your life you would ask for a perma ban and start fuking trying

SRS i went on my first event last Saturday and i had a phcking epic time. we went bowling and had drinks there (i was sober) there was about 25 people there, some chicks and everyone was down to earth AF. this one asian petite chick kept saying how i was cute and pretty and chit (strong mirer). we ended up in a group of like 6 and then hit the clubs together and met chicks and chit. one of my best nights tbh. I just went in alone not expecting a lot and had a great night. Made lots of new friends in there 20's, 30's and even 40's lmfao

theres basically daily events you can attend and choose from. From things like hiking-bowling-paintball-indoor games/sports/skiing anything really and everyones usually down to earth. u can also do chit like travelling but i think thats on another website.
livin life to the fullest eh

You are probably social and have a personality for that. I am one of the most quiet guys in the world. I would go there and just stand around with my arms folded. I don't talk in groups, i literally don't like being around groups of people at all and never have anything to say.

Plus i've already been to meetups. I've been to meetings at my job. I go to the gym. I never meet or talk to anyone. It's too hard for me to go somewhere alone and be mr. social. I am depressed as fuk

It is what it is man. Nobody (besides a gay dude and 2 ugly girls) have talked to me in years. I'm way past giving up. I just miss when i was 23 and knew more people and could drink to forget my problems. But at least i had friends and coworkers to talk to.
