IMO the alt right is built on propaganda (to be fair, practically every political movement engages in propaganda).
IME of the alt right, the nature of the propaganda is to foster racial in-group preference, by fosters out-group hatred. Notice how alt righters tend to talk about Jews, Blacks, Arabs, The Chinese, etc, at probably a 20-1 ratio vs simply celebrating their own ethnic heritage? They tend IME to frame race relations and social issues as a battle and a competition, I think in order to appeal to men's masculine inclinations towards fighting and winning. (You don't want to be a coward do you? You don't want to lose do you?)
There is a forum member who used to (maybe still does) post in the R/P subsection - I had seen this dude around since I began miscing, and I legit witnessed the dude become more hateful as he became more alt right. IMO there are people who may be Pan-European or ethnocentric, and don't hate other races (eg. Oswald Mosley), but IMO hatred or disdain for non-whites is encouraged in the alt right.
Regarding women... I've observed that women are often blamed for the 'downfall of western civilization' by anti-feminist conservatives and the alt right. Also, they seem to unironically deny that feminism is needed in the west, whilst being incredibly misogynisitic.(Take a look at the misc, an anti-feminist forum, which recently had a thread where people were genuinely arguing that women were inferior to men, and even unnecessary for sustaining civilization aside from reproduction.)
You can counter these narratives, I promise you, by reading and watching political narratives that indirectly or directly challenge the right and alt right narrative. You won't necessarily become left wing, but IMO your views will 'soften' and you lose the 'us vs them' mentality that is fostered by political movements.
I'll give you some youtube channels that I watch regularly...
https://www.youtube.com/user/ContraPoints/videos- A transsexual and SJW. Silly and uniquely insightful vids.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ6...dNBiXHQ/videos- Youtuber who counters right wing youtuber's videos.
https://www.youtube.com/user/ratmw1/videos- Ex white nationalist, and pro-fascist.
Also, based on what you are saying... Sounds like you need to develop social skills and a social circle, badly. I know from experience (and research shows) that social isolation is very bad for your mental health.
FWIW this dude is a PUA teacher, and I surprised to come across a talk of him standing up at a conference organized by an explicitly anti-feminist organization, where he gave a talk in support of feminism (he didn't tell them what he was going to say, and they were pissed with him)...

I do try to fight against it, I go on reddit a lot where they’re pretty left-leaning but it just makes me angry and I can’t really change my view or become a better person. I watched a couple of the videos from the users you linked and they piss me off even though I don’t disagree with them on things and I think that the things they’re pointing out are, indeed, bad things.
In terms of my social circle, definitely - it’s an ongoing project. Pretty hard to expand that after university, but that’s high on my priority list (of course).

I was just about to leave my place, and I remembered a concept that can help you change your worldview.
The concept is called a Reality Tunnel.
Basically, noone can escape that we have biases and filters due to; the biology/neurology of our species, our personal biology/neurology, lack of omniscience, cultural conditioning, etc.
So we never directly see reality, and we can never claim certainty about any conclusion/worldview/philosophy. All we can do is attempt to have explanatory and predictive models, that are always provisional and open to revision.
Basically, that's a useful concept, because it means that we can change our perspective on reality, by redirecting or challenging our biases and filters.
So you can change your perspective, it just requires feeding yourself challenging information, and consciously creating counter arguments to your current perspective (playing devil's advocate).
You don't have to be misogynist or harbour a dislike for non-whites, if you don't want to. (Though it will require effort, over a long period of time.)

"“Long before quantum mechanics, the German philosopher, Husserl, said that “All perception is gamble.”
Every type of bigotry, every type of racism, sexism, prejudice, every dogmatic ideology that allows people to kill other people with a clear conscience, every stupid cult, every superstition, written religion, every kind of ignorance in the world all results from not realizing that our perceptions are gambles.
We believe what we see and then we believe our interpretation of it, we don’t even know we are making an interpretation most of the time. We think that this is reality. In philosophy that is called naïve realism. “What I perceive is reality.” And philosophers have refuted naïve realism every century for the last twenty-five hundred years starting with Buddha & Plato, and yet most people still act on the basis of naive realism.
Now the argument is maybe my perceptions are inaccurate but somewhere there is accuracy. The scientists have it with their instruments. That’s how we can find out what’s really real. But relativity and quantum mechanics have demonstrated clearly that what you find out with instruments is true relative only to the instrument you are using and where that instrument is located in space-time.
So there is no vantage point from which real reality can be seen, we are all looking from the point of our own reality tunnels. And when we begin to realize that we are all looking from the point of view of our own reality tunnels, we find it is much easier to understand where other people are coming from. Or, the ones who don’t have the same reality tunnels as us do not seem ignorant or deliberately perverse or lying or hypnotized by some mad ideology. They just have a different reality tunnel, and every reality tunnel might tell us something interesting about our world, if we are willing to listen.”"

He's also acting all defensive because the line between the two (I want you to stop hating) and (I want you to stop wrongthink) is very blurred.
Ironically, the posters that came out more clearly on the former side are... women.
Specifically on the "pill" stuff, the "piil" people are useless inasmuch as it's a bunch of men circlejerking compulsively, but their style of deconstructing social dynamics (especially for young people) is often quite poignant. I'm not even sure that my analysis would be "redpill" stuff as my understanding is that they're bashing the guy just because he's not been bashing feminism during his speech... Well that's pretty much the only thing he got right of the entire speech. On the contrary, they tend to love the "be your own man" snakeoil that this guy is selling.
My gripe is elsewhere, and centered around the fact that he's giving the answer to the question nobody asked (how can we help Viggo Mortensen lookalike ***gots get pussy ?). Nobody asked that question because:
1) Viggo Mortensen lookalike ***gots are alreadydrowningin pussy.
2) 99% of men are not ***gots, and indeed the men suffering the most in the current social climate are the the polar opposites of this guy so even if he poured his heart and soul into giving them the best guidance possible, they could never follow into his footsteps. Because they're not built for it. Because men in the end are men. In the same exact way a radfem is in perfect good faith while giving her "dick is bad" routine because that ishertruth... shared by about 2% of the female population.

I think at this point SkinnyKappa you need to seek some type of support group or therapy. You mind has become blind to what good women are even capable of. It would help becoming friends with older women you are not romantically interested in or even making friends with lesbians. Right now you probably only see women as potential romantic interests, even this last line is partly inaccurate.
The road your mind is on is a dangerous one.

So, in some areas your views align with the alt-right, and in some areas in doesn't.
(Also, FWIW I've seen Jewish people align themselves with the alt right. Like Laura Loomer, and Stefan Molyneux.)
I do try to fight against it, I go on reddit a lot where they’re pretty left-leaning but it just makes me angry and I can’t really change my view or become a better person.
Yeah, IMO reddit is liberal. I don't think liberalism offers much in regards to challenging the alt-right and 'red pill' perspective.I didn't make it clear that I was advising you to research into non-mainstream views, that challenge your perspective.
I watched a couple of the videos from the users you linked and they piss me off even though I don’t disagree with them on things and I think that the things they’re pointing out are, indeed, bad things.

I understand. Good luck.I’ll watch the videos later today, but it sounds like I’m already kind of playing devil’s advocate on everything, but the alt-right side always wins in my mind.
Fair enough.Personal advice regarding playing devil's advocate to the alt-right (all the following is my opinion of course):
Power dynamics
The alt right (like Marxism) has a vertical analysis of power in society. In their case top-down. They believe that certain groups are on top, socially engineering society, and controlling us like puppets on a string. A way of challenging that perspective, is to look at other models of analysizing how power/influence works in a society.
Michel Foucault (to my knowledge) made the argument that those with capital had power, as did unconscious narratives/ideas/conclusions (what Richard Dawkins called memes), along with technology, rituals (ie. customs), technology, etc.
People like Neil Postman and Marshall McLuhan have spoken about the power that the medium of media (regardless of the content) has over society.
Religious people and philosophers have written about the power that promoted values have over society.
Therapists have written about the power that toxic family environments have overs society.
Social scientists have done research into the influence that population density has in regards to social attitudes.
Mainstream economists, and non-mainstream economists and political theorists have written about the affect that systems of governance and economic systems have over society - irrespective of who are the leaders or control capital.
Etc.
IME if you look into those things, the vertical model of power of the alt-right (and Marxism) sounds incredibly oversimplified. And you'll probably start to see how power/influence is more complicated that just the top-down model presented.
That's the level of devil's advocate challenging I'm talking about. The alt-rights narratives (as you know, and I agree) are sophisticated when compared to caricatures of it presented by the mainstream. So, IME it takes an active mind and research to challenge some of the views.
Again though, like I said, you can be Pan-European and white ethnocentric, without having out-group hostility (like Oswald Mosley).
I’m trying desperately to challenge this notion that women are bad and whatever, and thinking about having a good wife and daughters and whatever, but my mind still fkn HATES them.
I'll confess, I too went through a misogynistic phase. And it wasn't helped by the fact that even when I wanted to challenge the perspective, I had interaction after interaction with women who IMO were misandrists, or engaged in the kind of annoying behaviour that 'red pillers' talk about. (I'm literally still pissed off to this day, by my experience with some women. I would advise any man to never go to a therapist who identifies as a feminist.)
I can't remember how I changed, I think I realized that a lot of the speakers whose videos I watched, and got a lot of benefit from were women. And I also began to look into temperament differences between men and women - scientific research and 'spiritual'/metaphorical concepts like the divine masculine and the divine feminine.
I also listened more to some of the arguments of feminism (especially when I looked at developing countries), and came to the conclusion that there are advantages and disadvantages to being a man, and the same for women. I also came to the conclusion that the MRAs/MGTOW and 3rd wave western feminists don't seem to be interested in empathy, they just want to talk at people and don't care about hearing their experiences or giving them 'charitable interpretations'.
I also began to value empathy (something I'm still trying to incorporate into my communication habits, but I find it hard doing it solo), and I began to try to earnestly see things from others perspectives. (I honestly like some alt-righters - eg. The Golden One, he doesn't seem to have out-group hatred.)

Srs response
Nature designed us with some very specific instincts
- Survive
- Mate
Being socially integrated to a "tribe" improves access to survival and mating. People that dont have a tribe or mate arent going to be mentally ok. This was by design. The brain is telling you something is wrong. Unfortunately you cant fix every person. Some people are so fully indoctrinated they cant change their circumstances, or they have mental ailments that are hard to overcome.

The point here being that one can be perfectly functional even if he has a personal view as (on average, women suck), which may sound extreme on paper but is more common than you may think... Not just that but re-framing the thought into something less emotionally charged (i.e. a belief held without hate) it would also facilitate its re-evaluation at some point down the line... While starting on the "just don't be a misogynist" foot is... Meh...

bro i know what you'r feeling i felt the same way for awhile (abused by 2 female teachers and some other closer females), dude all i can say is not all women are like that (no white knight bs) alot are but there are some caring women out there, there just hard to find, but so is finding good men, most people will screw you over, just try to find one thats a good person, go look for them at charitys and other similar places, not places like bars, i know 2 females that i would say are good people that's out of like 30 females i know well, there are some good people out there male and female just look in the right places, if you do find a women that's a good person, don't just try to date them, if there married (or don't wanna date you) try to be friends with them, after being around them you'll feel less hate, at least that's what happened with me, best of luck bro.

i reckon youre bogged down with the women issue. it can take you out mentally at times, particularly when young. at the end of the day, its better to transcend sexuality than to be a hedonist. just something to think about. dont limit your existence to validation from women, which is like every guy

I've got to give you props for admitting that you have a problem and identifying some of the causes. You're a step ahead of 99% of the hateful incels on the misc.
Why the hate? You're frustrated, insecure, and you're searching for a scapegoat (mostly women) to cope. I wish I knew what you could do to turn things around; if we knew that, we'd have better advice for all of the other angry incels here. Perhaps you could try strengthening your relationship with friends and family, and talking through your issues with them. As others have said, loneliness gradual erodes your mental health, and online forums aren't really a substitute for in-person connections. A romantic relationship might not be in the cards in the short term, but a strong platonic relationship (someone you can confide in and talk to about your problems) could do a lot of good.

It's pretty cool you wanna fix this, OP.
Here is my two cents:
The Doors said it well, behaviours look weird from the outside:
Not being included in the stuff people do takes away your empathy. You end up analyzing everything people do to with too much logic. It doesn't really matter how much sense someone's behaviour makes to you as long as it makes then happy. Also you generalize to much.
Think of people as individuals. Don't think about what women do. Think about what you mom, sister, coworker etc does.
(But also ask yourself, where you meet all those unstable people, who claim to be bipolar. 1-3% of people are actually bipolar, more women than men and more young adults, but it still shouldn't be much more than 1 in 20 people. I have only met two bipolar girls in my entire life btw, both were students of arts)

Supposedly every fking woman is bipolar with severe depression and anxiety... yeah you definitely have anxiety when you post pics of yourself 24/7 online.
