A TT kit would be great, as the biggest issue I have with the Toyotas is their outdated powerplants and lack of power/tq.
The power they don't make combined with the Mpg they don't get is a shame.

I find it odd how fuggin huge trucks have become. That thing is still huge and its almost the smallest truck you can get.

Used 3/4 ton diesel or Ferd Ranger 2.3L turbo for same price, options options. Hasn't this thing been available overseas with a diesel options since it was discontinued in the US? I remember looking @ the Ford European website and the cover page was the Ranger pulling a trailer with a Bobcat on it.

My mind is full of fuq. How someone can expect a half ton truck can perform well on the street with a turbo 4cyl is beyond me. Probably performs well in dirt as the full suspension is designed for cruising comfortably @ 40-50MPH in sand/washes and small woops. Excessive body roll and can't tow chit son on the street, especially with a tiny engine like that. But very likely the people who buy trucks to tow are not the same people that buy 80k truggys. I still think they are some of the coolest looking trucks on the road now, especially the old ones with dat dere V8 equipped rumble.

I left my '97 Ranger XLT 2.3 five speed at my parents when I moved out to ****dump California. Thing can barely get out of its own way but at 135k miles it is still on the original clutch and never had any kind of serious mechanical problem.

I also find it very funny that most millennials have no idea how to drive a stick but my aging mom drives that truck all around town like nobodies business.
