OP why are you not excited about being 9 lb. down in a couple weeks? That's good progress, it will slow down for sure but at the beginning that looks about right.

You need to focus on eating quality foods, in the right calorie zone, and training hard. You can expect a good amount of body recomp initially.
Every single diet, Keto, IF, Carb-cycle, whatever it may be is based around one underlying principle, Calories in vs. Calories out. You don't need to be doing no carb dieting and all this crap now. Simpy track your calories, monitor progress, adjust calories as needed and train hard.

Keto gives a false sense of intial loss because it's only water at the beginning. After that you'll lose at the same pace as a normal diet. Now if eating no carbs if your preference, by all means go for it. Some like the meats/cheese/veggies type diet, but don't expect it to help a weight stall.
The other issue with Keto is properly reverse dieting out of it, unless you make it a lifestyle.

Some of the best advice I ever got when I decided to get in shape and lose weight was also the simplest.
Progress. Not Perfection.
Better than before, is success, even if it isn't as good as you planned out. You will fail your own expectations many times during this cut, and it's fine. So long as you are always doing better than you were, you will reach your goal.

What's good guys. Diet has been consistent for the past week, lifting has been progressing. Been doing lots of low intensity cardio. Need to keep carbs around 100g otherwise I gain weight back the next morning.

About ten years ago I went from 300lb to 160lb
Sitting at 185 now. Pretty lean\
I went from having no friends at all, never even hugging a girl to pounding pretty good quality puss in the reg. Changed my life completely. Now im a Physical Therapist and help people exercise all day.
Keep going bro. I can promise you the benefits are numerous and so worth the transient discomfort of hunger
Ive found that getting a bike was an excellent way to burn calories. Go out for hours at a low, sustainable pace. You can easily burn 1000+

Sup brahs, sorry for lack of updates my laptop charger broke, waited for that in the mail, taking care of wife and kids.
I readjusted my calorie intake after reading about what such a severe cut can do to your metabolism. At my weight eating 1800 calories freaks my body out, makes it harder to adhere to the diet and makes the effects of a binge that much more severe. My weight zig-zagged the first two weeks. Put it at 2600 cals and I haven't been tempted to eat or drink sugar AT ALL.
Anyway this is the last time I will **** with my macros. I found something that I can stick too without deviating an iota.
I bought Bill Starr's Strongest Shall Survive and Super Squats because I remember really liking them.
This time in life I'm focusing on consistency, not program hopping, following a damn program as written without ****ing with it.
Been eating turkey wings cuz it's good protein.
This upcoming month I plan on doing an hour of incline treadmill walking every off day. I'm going to measure my neck, fatcep, thigh, and stomach once a week when I weigh myself.

Your insulin sensitively should get better with weight loss, has your doctor suggested anything and do they know your trying to lose weight?
Glad you adjusted your calories to a manageable cut. Are you eating mostly clean? How are you doing daily sticking to your cut?

personally when I cut I donโt use extra calories when I do cardio rather if I donโt do cardio drop the calories. Also the second days lunch fat amount is a lot, plus the over all daily total, I normally find lowering the fat macros is the easiest way to lower calories. Also not getting processed or packaged foods, they normally add sugar and fats that you donโt even taste or would miss if they werenโt there.

(did cardio so earned calories)I think your doing a really good job over all, tracking is hard for most people to start. For cardio you might want to try walking when you wake up for 30-45 mins or on a treadmill incline so itโs fasted cardio before breakfast. I find it better than hiit and nicer on the joints

I'm thinking maybe 5 or 6am fasted incline treadmill every day then evening lifting? Realistically is the cardio gonna cut into my LP that much if I seperate them by 10-12 hours? It's walking not Sprints+Kettlebells++prowler work.
