Fair enough, maybe I just do things differently.
Sounds like you are spending too much time cleaning and your husband is spending too much time in the bathroom

Where the hell do these stay in housewives come from who expect to stay at home and get money given for being lazy. Doubt all these housewives spend all these hours cleaning and ironing as they claim to do. To hell with that, women who have proper jobs do exactly the same after they have done their normal hours at work. So all these stay at home snowflakes need to get a job and stop spending their husband's or more like "adoptive parent's" money. Women like these put other women who actually earn their own money into a bad light.

So this guy is saying how this miscers dad fukked up by marrying a gold digger yet his wife doesn't work, he says above that he gives his wife an allowance for mortgage payments, her student loans, groceries and spending money etc.

He also says that "luckily I didn't marry a money thirsty kunt" yet here he is paying her to do nothing but be his wife.

How can someone go to work every day to provide for a wife who does nothing, Peter brah is she your daughter or your wife? WTF man get some backbone.
Every guy I know that's married is a total poosy just like this guy. They have no say in anything, sign over their paychecks, do everything they're told. They always have to do chores and all this stupid chit. Most of them work full time and still do everything at home.. Its pathetic

No thx Jeff.
Kids start preschool early then what? She's still gonna be sitting home doing nothing, taking dinks. It's good for kids to be around other kids anyway. I agree with you to a point but If she doesn't work now she never will. Kids will be 18 before you know it and you will have a wife with no career who's miserable and hates you. Just lol

This.

Thought about it a bit, and don't understand the benefit of having a "stay at home mom" after the kids are in school. She would be bored out of her mind. She will probably need something to keep her occupied, and that would start costing money.

Even if she worked part-time, at least it will keep her occupied.

I may be misunderstanding something, but the guy said he controls the money and gives her an allotment. So how do you figure he has no say in anything?

Because once she decides to walk, the only thing he has a say in will be the what tent he wants to pitch.

Not having a working wife/husband really puts the risk on the sole provider.

I like my wife staying at home, keeping it clean, making me food, doing my laundry, being a friend, a lover, managing kids' schedules, tutoring kids, etc...

It is a mutual relationship and I don't see it in terms of monetary amount. She and I are a team, I take care of her and she takes care of me.

Edit: Same applies even without kids.

Lol.

It's not a secret that I believe in more traditional values of the female staying home and doing house chores and taking care of the kids while the guy is the breadwinner and head of household. I'm surprised that you're surprised. lol.

I'm not condoning any party to take advantage of the other party in a marriage (as in OP suggests). I just disagree when people say that being a housewife is somehow less valuable than bringing in the dough. They're complementary roles that have to be fulfilled in a marriage.

Do you have children? Pre-school is maybe 3-4 hours a day and usually only 2-3 days a week. Unless you're willing to fork out a buttload of money for 5 day a week preschool with daycare afterwards tacked on. Lets not even talk about daycare during the holiday and summer breaks. Or pre-school being closed due to inclement weather. What about when the kids are sick. Who's missing work and staying home with them?

Lets talk about elementary aged kids. School isn't from 7-6:00 to cover a working day. It usually starts after 8am and ends before or around 4pm. So then you have the cost of before and after care if your school provides it. How about all the teacher in service days that the school is closed? All the holidays off? Summers? Daycare will take care of that but costs a bunch of money. Then we go back to sick kids and Dr visits. Who's missing work to stay home with sick kids? Who's missing work to take them to their preventative Drs and dentist appointments?

What about sports? A lot of practices start before people get off work. Same with some games. Who's gonna miss work to schlep your kids to practices and games?

There are a ton of reasons having a SAHP is ideal when you have even elementary aged kids who aren't legally allowed to stay home by themselves.

Well then maybe that housewife can work part-time. Any part-time working parent can do all these chores. Also teach your kids from young to be independent so you don't have to be a taxi driver forever. Once they are about 8 make sure they learn how to go to their own sports practices etc... Well that's why my parents did. My skiing lessons were 20 mins away from home, still skied/walked myself there and back and guess what, my parents did not have their days interrupted by my own choices.

Couldn't imagine being that women sound like a shtty life. Not having any skills or talents and getting a allowance and then bending over the dick every now and then. Guy probably gets off doing this to her and cums from it probably doesn't even need sex. She's like a pet for him, give her dog food and water , let her go play every now and then. My grandmother and aunts, mom all have skills and talents that make money they have master degree's and had a good savings, also had a great marriage and no divorces. No woman who lives like this enjoys there life, no human would.

Any women or man who thinks they want this, only believes they want it cause they can't have the things they want. They don't realize that living the next 30-40 years just buying materials with no purpose or skills is not fun. You try to justify it in your mind cause all humans are narcissist believe they have it planned out and they cannot be wrong. Many ignorant humans with a higher level of narcissism just have to learn the hard way through the pain of experience.

" Oh I will have purpose I will cook clean and take care of the kids. " That's not purpose or skill anyone can do that. You will feel like your in a prison, probably will turn to drugs with the other housewives suggestions to fight the pain since your married and if you left you would be in poverty and rags without his money cause you never got any skills.
I just want to share the knowledge I have obtained throughout my life and hopefully change someone's life.

I was off by a few thousand. But forget about the stats, let's dissect the numbers for ahardworkinghousewife. No, this does not mean someone who sits around and social medias it all day.

Traditional housewife duties:

- Dusting, cleaning the floors, cleaning the furniture, cleaning the bathrooms - everything is maintained in the house. I hired someone to do this in an EMPTY house (when I was vacating my previous home) and she charged $350 for 4 hours of work. And still the cleaning wasn't on par.

- Cooking - even if she's not Gordon Ramsey status, food preparation includes shopping for ingredients, prepping, cooking, then cleaning up after including washing dishes. Think about the costs associated with each of these jobs.

- Laundry - washing and ironing/folding, ONE button down shirt for dry cleaning costs approximately $3. Again, do the math.

I'm not adding in her supporting/caring for her husband, because that's done out of love alone. Now add kids and the costs associated with childcare.

Again, I think the duties of a housewife, if she does them properly, are far undervalued. I'm a housewife who chooses to work full time too. Whether or not I work, my primary job duties are the household work.
i could hire a full time live in nanny for $35k/yr, so no.

sounds like chit parents tbh. Some of the best quality time as a parent is traveling to and from extracurricular activities. Just good one on one time.
