The elites are purposely keeping the general population trapped in wage slavery so we can't change the status quo. High housing cost/rent, basically illegal to be homeless, unnecessary 40 hour work weeks etc all trap us in a cycle of wage slavery so we have no choice but to spend our lives generating more wealth for them

I'm not a proponent of free-will myself, but still this is quite the curious statement. 2+2=4 has the essence of mathematical truth and (depending on what your axiom scheme is) can be proven. It's hard to see how the above is a good argument for the non-existence of free will, in fact I'm not sure how it's an argument at all.

I hear you. But having a great real estate agent vs. a chitty/average one can be a pretty big deal. I had two different ones, asking for duel realtor services of both selling my new place and helping find a new one. The firsf realtor I tried was a kind and hot mid-20's woman, but she honestly brought nothing to the table that I couldn't do myself with my own common sense and basic home listing websites. When that just wasn't working out on either end, I tried a more experienced middle aged one who really had her chit together and helped me in pretty much everything to selling my old place promplty at a solid price to negotiating a fair deal for my new one.

That included her arguing with a borderline retarded noob male early 20's realtor for the seller's of the house I ended up buying when he didn't know what the hell he was doing and was trying to take me to the cleaners in a deal while coming extremely close to me just walking away, but she got it sorted out to make them agree to acceptable terms. I did NONE of the work. Not a cheap service by any stretch, but it was worth it in that case.

I didn't say anything about searching inside yourself to find that free will is an illusion either. It can be logically deduced. It was also just an analogy to expess that i'm personally as sure about free-will (being an illogical concept) as I am of 2+2=4 or 2+2 not equaling 5 (A not-equals equation would have been more fitting as an analogy now that i think about it).

The fact that I can't write out the mathematical proof to 2+2=4 does not make me less sure as to the answer. My level of certainty also remains unaffected by someone else writing out the proof. So likewise I don't have to wait for someone to write a mathematical proof or have breakthroughs in neuroscience, to logically deduce that free-will is an unsound concept.

I have sold two places on FSBO but they agents have this whole things cornered. We should have access to the MLS ourselves and leave it at that.

God is arguably more logical than Big Bang theory being origin because to assume something benevolent created something from outside time and so can exist outside of our existence as we know it is more logical than something from nothing into chaos into order, at least imo

You wouldn’t expect an experiment to enact itself without something outside pushing is how I view it

Its easy to blame the 'system' but the fact of the matter is anyone has access to FSBO.com, realtor.com, zillow.com, craigslist housing, etc.


The question is, as a seller how many days can you devote to showing the house and for how long? As a working man can you show the house when needed? Are you going to put in the time to network/ advertise to get it sold?

I'm sure if you take a leave of absence from work and put the time in anyone could sell their house and save that 6%. The guys that I know that buy/sell houses as investment deals/ for rental properties typically do the deals themselves.
