Why don't you post in a reddit echo chamber where you can circlejerk in nihilism then. People here are pretty focal on disagreements.

the truth is that comfort leads to disease

we rot away as soon as we stop toiling

there is physical sarcopenia and osteopenia that we all prevent via resistance training

but there is also mental atrophy that occurs when you have no goals or challenge

if it ever becomes easy, it's over

I have diagnosed anxiety, with a bit of depression thrown into the mix, but even I wouldn't say ALL of life is pain and suffering.

But really, GFY for the racist comment, because gross.

Pretty true, but sometimes people get depressed for seemingly no reason, then the depression just takes away all motivation and goals they had.

Also sometimes life can be too hard for some people, like if you start getting bad health issues young, or are in constant pain on a daily basis, etc. So sometimes life can be too easy and people lack a purpose, but sometimes the odds can be tottally stacked and people end up playing life on hard mode.

Yeah, besides hunter-gatherer days, I don't think life has ever been as competitive in history as it is now.

I've noticed this as well everything is a competition these days, even most conversations. Pretty sure it's almost all because of social media.

Read up about evolution. How Earth is 4.5bn years old. Animals have been around for perhaps one billion of those. And you're here. Experiencing this world. That tiny chance, that your ancestors survived, and now you get to hear through those ears, smell through that nose and jizz through that japs eye.

it's my opinion that most depression is simply vitamin d deficiency srs

i said that to that doctor i was dating and she said "yeah, that's the first thing we check for when someone says they're depressed"

maybe people should be going to a normal doctor instead of a psychiatrist when they are depressed

Inability to feel emotions is one of the classic and first telltale signs of depression (dumbed down feeling, or inability to feel anything at all). Not only is this written in pretty much every medical literature around, but I can also confirm this, because I also had a period like this where I wasn't able to feel anything at all, i.e. I was depressed.

Seek help OP, I have said this to you before, you are depressed and again, most depressed people don't know they're depressed but other people around them can easily spot it, as a number of people including myself are saying.

I reckon stone age/iron age type of life is far better. Or until we have full automation I actually think this is a pretty bad time to be alive.
