Oh, so you are happier now that you're not as fat. Following the logic implied in your above post, doesn't it stand to reason that as you progress towards your goal weight, your previous reactions you were getting of "disgust" might continue to improve.. even moving towards admiration or desire from the opposite sex?

Maybe you should reserve judgement until you arrive at your goal?

OP why don't you see a therapist or do CBT? Talking to real people about your issues will help. Also you need structure in your life, you seek constant validation and short term dopamine hits. Get some structure and plan for yourself to help you move on from this self wallowing.

Anyway, its all wasted words on you since you make these threads weekly for over a year now and it dosent seem like you are trying to help yourself.

Surprised you're not part of the LDAR crew.

eh, I don't mind that. Company is worth billions but they pay me well, and I don't have the worries of running a business. Even if I worked for myself, there's a good chance someone else (or many) would be making money off my product. Doubt I'd make more per year, and it def wouldn't be enough more to compensate for the effort and time.

that's his whole character arc. vegeta is supposed to be the pinnacle of his race but he's humbled by a commoner eventually getting to a place where he realizes there's more to life than being the strongest. then he goes on a terrorist killing spree and the whole thing is undone for fan service

So yeah.. you kinda keep contradicting yourself with statements like this. Reach your goal weight and see how you feel. Not like you're doing anything else with your time.

Which could be regained upon completion of a difficult goal like losing 100+ lbs. Maybe. I'm working on the same chit myself. I may be the same miserable kent that I am now when I hit that point. Maybe not. I haven't had a woman look at me twice in about 2.5 years, and the only time they did give me any attention was the last time I got down to ~300lbs. I gotta imagine 250 or lower I might actually turn a couple heads if I fukced 3 chicks at 305.

Is this a clinical diagnosis of depression we're talking about, or just being generally unhappy about the pointlessness of life? Because it is pointless, but you might as well enjoy yourself as best you can while you're here.

Go back to school then? Not sure why you'd want the debt though. Take some courses online and learn about something that interests you. It's the information age.

The idea is to view things in the best way possible

Example if you're locked in prison in a dark room and sentenced to 5 years in isolation, only get food and water once a day

Now, as you're not locked in a dark prison room alone for 5 years... and you have infinite options, it wouldn't make sense to only ever sit in a dark room alone... and so we go do things that would be more fun

You've probably seen it, but a monk once got poured in gasoline, and set on fire... so he's in flames burning and doesn't flinch. That's a testimony to the potential we have.

Also, it could even be deeper than that, as things are relative... a monk doing essentially nothing all day long, could be enjoying life more than some playboy billionaire banging 10/10's all day long.

But anyway, forgetting all the above, and to put it simply. Choosing to view your situation in the most favourable way is better than the opposite. Choosing to see the glass as half full instead of half empty just makes for a more joyful life.

Though, it's not like OP isn't getting anything out of this, people enjoy moaning and having a good whine at thing... they probably don't even recognise that they enjoy doing so. Example... OP is not over there sticking needles into his eyes, that would be no fun... however he creates this thread... he's getting something out of it, a certain type of pleasure.

We all know that one person that whines and whines every day, and are always have a bitchy attitude. They're getting something out of that, don't be fooled into thinking they're not getting a type of enjoyment out of doing so.

If you honestly think I'm looking for attention or this is a "woe is me" thread you're an idiot. Couldn't care less really, in fact I'd prefer it if people agreed with me since it would make for more interesting conversation.

What kind of crazy chit do you do? I'd be interested to know because I've done some pretty crazy stuff in pursuit of actually feeling something if that makes sense not just something but actually feeling strong emotions. Just the other day I was driving at fast at 4am on a country road just to try and feel something. Kinda worked to

Realtalk OP, the longer you sit there in this headspace, the worse off you'll be. Also you will never find the answers you're looking for online let alone the misc.

I'm not going to blame your suffering on you like a lot of people in this thread do, even if they know nothing about you. You just have to find a way to move on from the past, correct some negative beliefs you have about yourself, etc.

Seriously if you can get into some one on one therapy, it could change your life, and certainly more than people can do here via online text. My point is that the chances are that you don't have to suffer the way you feel you are now, but you have to be proactive in seeking therapy, challenging your negativity, building good habits, getting out your comfort zone, etc. Again, the longer you wait, the more suffering.

Thats one thing. No-one can live life on a CONSTANT high and always be excited and seeking thrills. You are not alone in enduring the daily trudge (which is part of being a functioning human I guess) and having to use stims and chemical rushes to give yourself a buzz. Nothing wrong with coffee in moderation. Travel, running and physical excercise are perfectly healthy methods to gain enjoyment and good feelings.

Anything that provides a thrill or rush. I chase storms, go to concerts, drive around at night blaring music, travel to different places etc. But it's not like i can do this stuff all the time it only makes up for like .00001% of my life.
