Yes any healthy male should get to 225 unless you are eod and hit your genetic limit
Also OP i have long ass arms and bench over 315 just takes time and good routine/diet. Idk how tall you are though.

Just watched the chic bench video, should I really be doing all that jazz? I just lay down, push shoulders into the bench, and bench.
ive never considered where my feet are, I think it looks weird that her arch back is like 6 inches off the bench, that doesnt look comfy.

6'2 brah checking in, tiny wrists, long as phuck arms.
Started twink at like 150 pounds and bulked properly and ran a good program
Got 225 for 5 with good form in like a year. Probably could've got it sooner too, had a few setbacks with injuries.

You work up to it if you can't lift it. Because realistically speaking, you physically can't lift what you can't physically lift.

i could see somebody having really unfavorable genetics for benching with long arms & bird chest, but having a small frame alone won't be a big problem. I've benched 300x2 at 5 6'&170, meanwhile this past summer i've been working with 235 x 5 @ around 145. I'd say around 90% of dudes should be able to reach that within 3 years of structured training.

First time i ever touched weights my max was 65lb at 160lb 5'9 skinny fat. YEARS later at 5'11 205 I hit 2 plates in competition. I am pretty sure I had a 405lb squat and 485lb deadlift before I had a 225 bench lmao.

I could do 100kg bench press over 10 years ago. It just doesn't feel right... to keep a nice upper arm angle, the bar drops well below my nipples line - long arms of peace... hence DBs are more natural. LOL at people saying bad ROM. Keep arching your backs to lift your chests to the bar *******s.

At my peak, I could do 225 lbs for 10 reps (I think 12 with a Slingshot), right now I can do it for at least 4 reps.
It's not hard, at least for me. I got to 225 lbs in 6 months.

With afew years of dedicated training then yes, a healthy young man should have no difficuly in doing 225lbs bench. I can't recall how long it took me to get to that 2 plate mark, 8 months maybe. My highest number was 19 reps. Obviously if the man in question does havy manual labour as a day job, then they should ascend to 225 MUCH quicker than some scrawny cubecel dweeb.
Even 4 weeks ago I could still do 15 reps at pretty much the same bodyweight.

My wingspan is 2 fkn meters long (6.6") on a 6.2" frame. My wristst are small. I'm in that category of slenderman dudes who gain slow at the bench.
First of all I didn't gain chit and it made me want to quit. Later I found out that always my grip would give in before the target muscles were trained enough. So no chit sherlock that the target muscles don't grow. I should have just focused first on my GRIP and GRIP STRenght and not give a fuk.
After correctng for that I'm making good gains, nearing 200 for reps
