You put a fkin cow on celltech, and it will gain a fkload of muscle, and become leaner... it's not even debatable.

There are people that would literally be fat if they continued eating what they usually eat, and working out as they usually workout... but taking away their celltech being the only change

Sure it will take more calorie restricting to get super lean, but creatine gives you a hugeee degree of being able to slack and still be lean/have abs

Depends on how you define lean IMO. I'm sitting at about 14-15% and like the way I look along with the performance in the gym. I can maintain this body fat% with minimal effort and I get to enjoy eating a lot.

I've been sub 10% and while it looked great, I didn't enjoy being there. I don't look as great now but I still have pretty clear separation everywhere aside from my midsection.
Strong mind, strong body.

Yes gear helps, but if you can't lean out and get in shape naturally, you aren't going to do it on gear either. Getting lean requires discipline, regimen and dedication.
this is what I thought which is why I want to get on a good routine exercise and diet wise before trying to sip fruit juice.

That's true as well.

God I wish we had camera phones back then.

Hurry durrr where's the proof why can't I find it?

People didn't want to carry a news camera around to record videos all the time.

Film actually had to be developed so again people didn't just carry cameras around constantly.

Also we didn't really think these were great feats because lots of guys did it.

In my 3 years in hs I saw at least 4 guys bench 405.

I saw at least 10 guys bench over 300

Another 4 guys bench over 275.

All in HS except 1 405 bencher was the online coach who played center at Elon.

this thread has gotten heated and my angus was not peppered lmao

seriously though - not that easy for me to look lean in a misc lifting standpoint. irl I’m considered athlete lean but I’m literally eating enough to hit a 0.5 lb gain a week (250ish surplus/day)

still lost my leanness within the first 7 lbs (a large part of it water/glycogen) feelsbadman.

bench went up 30-35 lbs, deadlift about to be up by about 40 lbs and squat already up 50 lbs

wouldn’t have been able to progress nearly as well on my lifts if i stayed a 150ish lb shredded twink m8

That has nothing to do with this thread. This thread is about leaning out

Leo said leaning out is somehow magically easy while enhanced. JUGGERNAUT rightfully corrected him

You came in and posted an irrelevant study about gaining muscle that no one was debating

And about me being a hippo, make a call out thread to compare physiques. I'm fully ready for a ban bet

Yes, if you give a beginner "help", he is obviously going to experience a massive different in the amount of muscle he can put on compared to someone who doesn't. It is a completely different game when you are talking about veteran lifters who already have a lot of muscle mass.

You would not believe the amount of people at your gyms who use creatine and look like absolute chit. The ability to stay lean is LARGELY dependent on genetics. I've already stated that I have to remain 90% strict to remain lean. If I eat like crap, I look like crap. It varies widely by the person.

I am the first person to admit that creatine is an advantage. Why else would people use it? My issue is people acting like its some magic cool aid you drink and suddenly you're a Greek God. You people drastically over estimate the effects that it has, especially on veteran lifters. Newbies is a different story however.
So you're disagreeing with my point that if a celltech user who is currently lean enough, has abs... and eats whatever he wants(within reason)... were to stop taking the celltech, that his bodyfat percentage would not raise? That's what my point was. Someone could literally go from being 10% bodyfat (on creatine), to 15%+... EVERYTHING ELSE in their life stays in exact same, workouts stay the same, diet stays the same, everything... and the only thing that changes is they stop taking creatine.

This is true regardless of if the person is a newbie, or a veteran... in terms of their bodyfat percentage. Not arguing that the newbie would have a greater change to his physique within say 1 year of taking creatine vs a guy that's been taking it for a decade, obviously the newbie would look vastly different, and the veteran would make less significant gains... but I'm talking strictly about bodyfat percentage, which is the discussion of this thread. Both would have a significantly higher bodyfat percentage simply from 1 change in their lives, that 1 change being celltech hardcore. Not saying celltechers don't work hard, not saying they don't make sacrifices.

So if everything else in someones entire life stays exactly the same, and you remove that 1 variable, you're saying that I'm wrong in saying that their bodyfat % would not get significantly higher? Honestly don't see how this is arguable. Not even an attack on celltechers, just not going to deny reality because someone thinks that I'm attacking the result of their hard work. I don't care about anyones hardwork, or lack of hardwork, don't care at all about the results anyone else has... I'm just speaking truth. And obviously there's a point where if you're massively overeating, no amount of celltech hardcore is going to keep you lean... but you can eat a significant amount more, without your bodyfat raising as high as it would compared to if you didn't take creatine monohydrate. That 1 variable alone could be the difference between a guy being 15% bodyfat or being 10% bodyfat... ALL else in his life staying EXACTLY the same.

For me.....it doesn't matter. I retain fat easily whether natty or not. I have to be very strict to keep my physique in check. It will give you more leeway IF, you are genetically leaner in the first place.

If we are talking about a 3-5% different in BF%, then yes I agree with you for the most part. Your first post came off as people turning into a fat cow if they hopped off, which was ridiculous and not accurate.

Your second post quoted above was worded much better, and I'll agree that there will be a BF% different, however, in your scenario, where diet stays the same, and the only thing you take away is creatine, a person will NOT go from shredded to fat slob. They will gain some BF yes, but they will not turn into a dad bod or anything.

Enhancements are exactly what they are called. Enhancements. They enhance who you already are. If you are someone who stores fat, is soft and doesn't lose weight easily, you won't suddenly turn into a lean, fat burning machine who can eat everything. Yes you'll have a easier road, but you will still be able to gain fat and it will take more work to get shredded than the person who is prone to be leaner in the first place.

EDIT: Also, in b4 thread lock. We are prob getting close to pushing the rules.

Strong thread, talk about missing the point.

At the end of the day, OP has a point. If you are a gym rat with love handles, you are doing it wrong i dont care how much you bench or what you used to look like as a teen.

That's really hard to believe given that enhanced gives you more lbm which in turn gives you a much higher bmr.

How can you refute that other than your experience which could just be a statistical outlier.

Pretty much me as well, except I've never competed and never want to compete. I'm working on a bit of recomp but I'm ok with where I'm at now.

well i guess that's a reasonable response. as for threadlock rules, i think the rules are a little more nuanced than that. pretty sure we can openly discuss steroids, post studies etc, we just cant discuss how to use them, advocate for them, talk about where to get them etc.

maybe a mod can clarify
