I thought it was good enough if you just want to see a movie.

I had a $4 Tmobile voucher for Alita so decided to use it. Almost decided not to, but I got myself to watch the movie, taking a chance on it b/c of all the bad reviews.

And I thought it was a decent movie, it was entertaining enough to not be bored. And the whole theme of Alita is interesting enough to have a conversation about if you wanna talk about movies. I don't know why it received bad reviews, like it was truly a bad movie. I think it could have been a summer blockbuster movie. And there are bigger movies that bore the **** outta me, like Avengers: Infiniti War. If anything, if Alita deserved such a bad rating, I hope those same critics gave Avengers a really bad score because I will sleep through that movie if I had to watch it again.

At least Alita brings a new concept I have not seen, like humans fitted into cyborg robot bodies.

Corny af, cool battle scenes, everything seemed rushed and predictable. IMO Manga requires good character developement that can take season or two to really hit me. can't really do that in 2 hours...
