I've been hearing people chirp about this Yang and his "1k a month for everyone over 18" rhetoric.

But in all seriousness, I don't understand how anyone can support a candidate like that unless they're mentally challenged somehow. It doesn't take an economics expert to understand how insane that kind of concept is in reality. There are about 252,000,000 legal adults in the U.S., so multiple that by 1k and you're looking at $252,000,000,000 /month, or $3,024,000,000,000 /year. So literally over $3 trillion PER YEAR to fund such a program. You could confiscate every cent from the current net worth of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates combined, and it would still be well short of what would be required just for one month's worth of funding for it... yet people are saying this guy's political concepts aren't loony? Lol, I mean come on, at SOME point you have to question how you'd pay for all this crap. That $3 trillion figure isn't even including the other countless entitlement programs already on the books, not to mention the "free" universal healthcare and college they want to add to the bill as well.
just take it away from nasa and the military they are over funded maybe take it away from police funding

Yang is one of the smartest guys in the field for sure.

He has actual ideas with implementation details behind them.

It creates a small number of jobs for engineers, programmers, and a few others, but for the most part it'll take away jobs en masse.

Most people are fairly stupid, and civilization has always been built on the backs of the poor and uneducated. What are you going to do with those millions of people then? You could say that it's not your problem, which is fine until they rise up and incite violence and make it your problem. It's how communist revolutions started.

I would strongly advise watching this job, it's only 11 minutes long and well researched, and it's a response to that statement...

The more I think about it the more obvious it seems that the meme farms are trying to generate as much support as possible for the least electable candidate. Besides the fact this his policies are a joke....even if you support his policies you can admit there is zero chance he gets the nomination. The more support they can garner for him the larger the section of disgruntled/disenfranchised voting base they can create when he doesn’t make it.

amazing how the promise of free **** can get people to vote for ****ty politicians. when will people learn that nothing in life is free. UBI will cost 2.5 trillion a year. our US budget is only 4 trillion dollars right now and we are already 22 trillion in debt. the numbers don't add up. We must create wealth, no redistribute it.

Your thinking about this too hard. The Yanggang is a response to Trump not following through on anything he promised except for the typical Republican chit that we would have got no matter if it was Jeb, Trump, Cruz or Kasich. The thought process is "if we can't stop everyone else from getting free chit and the country is going to hell anyway I might as well get my own gibs."
