Good observation. Pretty sure they reached the conclusion that it would be rayciss to have the brown guy play with the black pieces and the white guy play with the white pieces. Besides, playing the first move grants you like 52-56% better chance to win.

I mean...it really doesn't matter. White will become the new black and black will become the new white. It makes zero difference, and if it will make the SJW stfu, then it's not a terrible idea. Historically, people would alternate, and in some customs, black actually went first. It doesn't really matter.

Maybe they could give the black pieces additional abilities to make up for all of the years of oppression? Add L moves for the queen? Pawns can always double step, en passant anytime, chit like that.

There's no way Magnus is only 5ft 2 lol, that must be his age from when he was 14 or something and has yet to be updated.

Also i don't think this campaign's aim is to change the rules of chess, more-so they just used their profession (chess) to bring awareness & support to racial issues happening throughout the world.

I think you're right because every picture i see with him, he's about equal height with everyone else in it. So i figured chess either is a midget game or google was wrong.
