NEWSFLASH: Chess is racist because white pieces move first! Rules will change! (srs!)
The world chess champion Magnus Carlsen has started a campaign to stop the privileged white pieces from moving first. In order to fight racism, he argues that the rules should let the disadvantaged POC pieces move first because, in his words, "color should grant advantage".
1. No, it's not satire.
2. For the people saying "this will not change anything he's just virtue signaling", you need to realize this is the freaking WORLD CHAMPION. All he needs to do is boycott official tournaments until the rules change and the sponsors will freak out and use their financial power (along with the media) to pressure the World Chess Federation into compliance.
