As for OP just wait til your 40th reunion. Also lol at even trying to get an idea of what people look like on social media’s cause of all the filters being used. I checked out some classmates on our reunion page last Nov and they looked nothing like their pics IRL. I think it’s only human to feel good that you stand out from your same age group of people but I don’t think it’s nice to make fun of stuff people can’t control like balding.

Life happens, but if the OP is 24 (and based on his writing style -- I'm guessing he's no Doogie Howser who graduated 8 years early or something), so all these people are in their mid-20s... you should be in shape then. Guys will continue to peak but a girl who lets herself go in her early 20s is pretty bad, they could be peaking.

i can confirm that most people go to hell.
out of my group of 5 "best friends"
- 1 stayed in excellent shape, i think he's a detective or something now, see him once a year , but is 100% reapeared
- 1 who used to be the "chad" is about 250 of pure turd now, i think he got fukked by life
- 1 is reapered and fat, but was a fat manlet to begin with,
- 1 kind of stayed the same, skinny fat lanklet
- 1 lost weight, but has a fat wife, so jake's on him

so yeah, such is life. if everyone looked like chris evans in their mid 30's, everyone would make 10mil a movie for mediocre acting. but we don't, there's literally only 1 of him on the planet. i am much more muscular than i was in my teens, but i also have more fat, back hair, thinning hair up top, and hairy ears. so yeah, there's that.

i know the common thought around here is that all men become george clooney after 40 and all women become the wicked witch of the west meets roseanne, but trust me, the fat gods get us all.

As for getting in shape, yes a lot of people are lazy, most of my friends don't do any knd of sports already. Most people just don't want to or make excuses.

Op wasnt a loser, or popular, just in the middle. Fast forward to today, hes still just in the middle. Something else you accomplished OP? Getting into shape takes 6-12 months. And getting out of shape just as fast or faster. They could be way ahead of you in other aspects of life that you are struggling. Life will humble you , give it time.

Either way Im pretty much the most successful of everyone I knew back in school, but hell theres still so many people ahead of me in my new environment.

It was more of a general statement than me saying everyone who is succesful is in shape. I am just saying that people in better shape more often have better work ethics, are more determined,etc...
Besides it is proven that better looking people get further up the ladder. I also don't see how being someones boss makes u more successful but whatever mate.

I actually went up after high school. I was scrawny little 18 year old after graduating. Started working out and like 5 years later the school mates I would run into couldn’t believe it was me. All natty no gear.

doesn't matter how many wives or kids or responsibilities you have, fitness and health should be a priority....some might say ESPECIALLY if you have a wife and kids and people depending on you.

I've been in situations where I was working 12 hours a day, had to take a bus to and from (1 hour each way), and still found time to not only train but prepare for competitions. it wasn't easy, in fact it was some of the hardest times of my life, but it makes you stronger in the end. lots of character being revealed itt.

LOL that's how I felt.

I remember they put pics up on FB from the reunion.

First off it was mainly all the douchey "school spirit" crowd that all wore their Letterman's back then.

Everybody there looked like ****, except one girl.

Coincidentally most of my friends look roughly the same as back then, none of them attended as well.

I just have a feeling for those who were in attendance it was either the highpoint of their lives and/or they identity way too much with being in high school.

I never cared like how at the end of the year everybody was crying and **** I was like whatever.

I've kept in touch with my real friends through the years, everybody else fell to the wayside.

My only regret is back then had "friends" whose GF's were trying to get on my dick.

I was like "nah, such and such is my boy, I can't".

Had I known in a year I'd never hear from them again, would've gotten in some guts.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.
