I usually try to ignore and not let this stuff bother me but these producers changing all these oldschool comic book heroes to women/gay/biracial or whatever just to make it more pleasing to progressive people is dumb as hell. If you want to make a hero movie more appealing to the public then make up one instead of ruining all the classics.

Yeah I have a feeling that it'll be a huge girl power thing like super girl was. I watched a whole season of super girl to give it a shot but it wasn't for me. And it wasn't even in your face with the woman power stuff like this trailer. So I can't even imagine the show. But I'm sure it'll give younger girls someone to look up to.

Did shows like arrow and flash have "im a man"in your face scenes like those shows? I can't remember any

I didn't think it would be that bad. And since it's CW, I knew they'd try to make every tertiary character either black, female, or gay. But holy CHIT was that a disaster. Batwoman looks terrible.

Honestly, I don't mind political messages in movie and TV (even ones I disagree), however I dislike it when it's basically delivered without metaphor, or in the form of straight up political statements through character dialogue.

I loved Season 2 to 9 of Grey's anatomy, and they even had political messages, however IMO they were cleverly woven into character arcs and plots. (It dealt with race, sexuality, parenthood, healthcare costs, etc)... Then it I think it got lazy, and rather than weaving it into the story and characters, after Season 9 they began giving the characters monologues and lines about men/racism, etc.

The whole CW/DC comic book to tv series is clingy as hell. It's literal garbage. Why people would watch that **** season after season is beyond me. There are soo many better shows to entertain you.
