So tell us, how do you prevent outsourcing then?

And don't worry, soon automation will ensure those kids aren't needed when they're replaced by a machine.

99.99% of employees are expendable assets they can replace quickly. If there is no financial incentive to care, then the majority of them won't. Profits > Empathy.

Meanwhile Employers like Chick-Fil-a, Costco, Aldi's, etc pay more, treat workers better, and still make a ton of profit.

FYI Sam Walton and his wife are what made Walmart GOAT and treated everyone right, not the dumb ass kids in charge.

This

You do this and everyone is happy. Team moral is better. Everything is more efficient.

Instead Wal Mart would rather higher 70% people who don't want to work, not fire the bad workers and treat everyone like chit lol

Could just hire half the amount of people that actually work and pay them a little more and treat them better. This goes for office jobs too. Same chit.

I worked at wal mart for years and they never fired the bad workers. Most of the time they were making double what everyone else was and treated better. A word was never said to them.

Nah I like the Wallmart and amazon why. Why the hell should I pay more for unskill workers when they're dumb and probably going to screw the company over anyway.

Sam Walton built Walmart on the foundation of treating employees right, along with the customer. Tons of videos on him online.

And you just made the case for the free market. Those places aren't paying them better out of charity. They can only pay them better because that's what the free market dictates for their business model.

Your thinking is in reverse. Do you know how selective Costco and Chick-Fil-A are when they hire employees? They hire the best customer-service employees, which is why they pay them more to keep them.
Your average wal-mart exployees would get fired the next day if they worked at those places. You double your average Wal-Mart employees pay and 95% of them will still be hot trash.

This isn't the 1950s. That doesn't work anymore. Most successful corporation screw over their employees so their shareholders can profit as much as possible. I have no issues with that

Okay....its ****ing Walmart though. Trashy employees, and trashy customers. Also, Walmart hires greeters for ****s sake. They don't have to, could probably save money getting rid of that position.

I'm gonna have to disagree with everything you said. Most Walmart employees aren't bad people, except they get treated like chit from upper management so they do the bare minimum. Higher salary = Better employees with better work ethic and better attitudes. People are willing to put in more work for better pay especially if it came to their families. You'd be surprised how above and beyond some people would go if you actually cared and payed better wages.

As far as Free Market, the Industrial Revolution days and Sweatshops overseas proves that theory wrong. Because at the end of the day people will undercut you just to feed their families.

Sam Walton and his wife is the reason why Walmart is in the spot it is to this day. They're the reason Walmart is so big and successful so I'm not getting what you're saying. What do you mean "That doesn't work anymore."?

Why do you think? The federal min wage is 7.25. Do you really think any company gives a crap about you?

Corporations working their employees literally to the point of a mental breakdown and suicide.

Without regulation corporations historically have been fine with not providing employees with; low pay, regular breaks, long hours, bitter job references - effectively blacklisting an employee - unsafe working conditions, etc.

The Libertarian theory is that corporations given free reign will treat their employees well because it's in their economic interest, however reality - as we can see in various sweatshops around the world, where the state doesn't regulate employee conditions - shows that corporations will treat their employees as bad as they can get away with.

I have no idea why anti-regulation people ignore the decades upon decades of historical evidence, showing that corporations will treat employees like crap if they can get away with it.

I highly, highly recommend watching this documentary...

Here it is...

I have seen that documentary. The Regulation argument doesn't work for me. The regulations on new drugs coming to market kills thousands per years. Economically speaking, There are always costs and benefits of everything.

I would prefer that drugs be released on to the market with safety checks.

The Libertarian notion is usually that 'if a drug is unsafe, consumer will get sick/die and then that will be bad PR for the company, so they will go out of business... And only the good ones will survive'.

Again though, we have literal evidence that when unregulated people can and will sell unsafe products (e.g. street drug dealers who sell rec drugs or celltech mixed with unsafe things, or that's made in unsanitary conditions).

"Fake birth control pills. Cough syrup for children that contained a powerful opioid. Antimalarial pills that were actually just made of potato and cornstarch.

These are, according to the World Health Organization, just a few examples of poor-quality or fake medicines identified in recent years.

In a report released this week, WHO estimates that "1 in 10 medical products circulating in low- and middle-income countries is either substandard or falsified." That includes pills, vaccines and diagnostic kits."

https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsan...=1563449901218

There are places in the world where market forces are the only thing incentive companies to give people good medicine (due to a lack of regulation, or unenforced regulation), and (like the above link summarizes) they sell people either stuff that literally does nothing, or is harmful.

All you need to do is explain yourself.

You write with 1 or 2 sentences, seemingly hoping that people understand what you are implying, when you could simply just explain what you mean.

Have you considered that maybe you aren't good at explaining yourself, and the fault isn't with the other person.

I'm debating other people ITT and even though I disagree with them, they explain their points... I don't see why you think you need to be different from everyone else ITT.
