Shock and disbelief probably took hold first. You never expect some random lady to stab your kid in the face. You're also not looking for that, so his first impression may have been that she was grabbing something off his face, or something like that. He does go for it after a while when the adrenaline and understanding kicks in.

I'd say it's unfair to say he's a bad father or a beta. I can see anyone in that situation initially being completely confused and not knowing what the hell just happened.

No way. The guy wasn't scared just confused. By the time he lit up, she was already gone. He probably didn't even know how bad she hurt his kid for him to want to chase her down and anime punch her in the face. Hindsight is wonderful when you're watching a video and already know that the kid has been stabbed, that it's going to happen exactly as described. The real thing is a lot different.

You are not defending anything when she is heading away like she clearly did. Your concern should be SEEKING IMMEDIATE HELP for your child as the threat is heading away.

If you head towards her and she stabs you to death, she will go after your wife and your 2 other children after.

If you stab her to death, YOU will be charged with murder because you chased her as she was running away.

You think you know what you'll do in a situation like that except you would probably never even imagine something like that happening until it does. There is a shock moment too, like did I see what I just saw. Perhaps his first priority was to just protect the kids and stay with them but then again, pretty damn pathetic. I understand a moment of shock but honestly, after he should have chased that bish down, be like yeah cut me, that way I have justification to litterally curb stomp your skull in two. Beat that bish to death, no judge or jury is going to hold you to it.

Happened in the country Georgia, next to Russia. Interesting they have her age, but not her name or any other information about her.

I raged so hard when I heard this story. I'd go HAM on that woman and pray the courts have mercy on me.

The weak ass way she turns on the dad with the knife, he easily could have yanked it out of her hands. You can just tell when people are feeble weaklings.

I feel like a lot of posters ITT aren't really thinking the entire situation through very well before they talk about what they would have done differently. Even if this happened in the U.S., his chance to physically retaliate against her without potentially serious legal consequences was over the moment the old landwhale start waddling away after she tried swiping the second kid. As far as the law is concerned, they'd say she no longer posed a threat to him or his family at that point, making physical retaliation against her illegal. It sucks, and I think it's bs, but that's the reality of the matter.

I mean think about it - If she only landed 10 years in prison for stabbing a small child in the face and then attempting to do the same thing to another child seconds later, what do you think would have happened to him if he had actually smacked a fat old batchit crazy bitch from behind while she was waddling away? Let alone thrashing her until she was finished off? I'm guessing he'd have gotten 5+ years for hitting her as she was "running away", and as much as 20+ if he actually ended her then and there. His defense would be crime of passion via retaliation for her stabbing his kid/trying to stab his other kid. Her defense would have been whatever it was in that situation, plus framing her as a helpless fat old insane broad who just needed to be dealt with by police at that point because she was "scared of him" and "running away".

Those are the facts. I don't agree with it personally, but if I had to guess, I wouldn't like his chances of getting off with that scott free legally. Not unless he had thrashed her before she began waddling away from them, to which point he could have easily argued she was a threat that needed to be dealt with immediately to prevent further physical harm. What good is he going to do his kids sitting behind bars for 5-20+ years for attacking her from behind (morally justified or not) after he had already lost his chance to do it before she began fleeing? I'm not saying that's what I'd have done. I don't think the guy even knew what happened until she took a swipe at the second kid, who he was walking with. I'm pretty sure I'd have been throwing fists straight for her fat ugly face the second I got my kid out of the way out of pure instict, not being particularly worried about her knife. Unfortunately the soycel had poor reaction time (most people would who don't have a decent amount of experience with physical confrontations) and it was too late for him to do anything by the time he thought to consider it.

After seeing the blood though most people would go on hunting mode to find that large whale, she was likely still walking nearby
