Since we're talking guns, I'm a noob. Just filled out foid application. I'm stuck between the Sig p227 and the CZ 97b. Any thoughts on those 2? Right now it'll be for home defense + range until I get comfortable(About 1 year?) then conceal carry. I'm a big dude with big hands if that matters.

fair enough. you hadnt included their mortages in your previous post, so i thought you believed landlords would have to keep paying them while receiving no rental income

Most of my close friends are all in pretty safe employment sectors so I haven't heard anything like you're describing. If you're right this is gonna make 2008 seem like a booming economy
personally im quite confident this will be worlds worse than 2008

More along the lines of changing the whole low-middle-high class sytem completely and leveling it a lot more out, except shifting most people down to lower middle class.

Really going to be interesting to see what happens with big purchases like houses, vehicles, and credit scores when this is all over and people can no longer afford to pay off their debts and theres not been any sales going on for a couple months.

So who would get this check though? Is it only people in the workforce who are actively losing hours and therefore income.

Everything I'm seeing says "Every American adult". Does that include retirees who already get Social Security and Retirement (those things should be pretty much guaranteed to continue)? Like my Grandma who is 88 years old who sits in her room all day and lives with my Mom, will they send her a check?

What about those who are disabled and don't really have to worry about loss of income whether that is due to SSDI or VA Compensation, etc?

I'd think it would make most sense to give it to the working class who are actively losing jobs, but then every American on disability/welfare/retirement would throw an absolute fit if they were 'discriminated' against right?

Guess I'm just trying to understand the logistics.

I mean a lot of Trump supporters are in favor of anti-interventionism, tariffs, protectionism, things typically considered liberal/progressive.

we spend trillions of tax payer money on wars that enrich banks and the military industrial complex. we bail out wall street with a blink of a eye. but when tax payer money goes to actual working Americans it becomes 'socialism'. We have privatized gains and socialized losses.
