Had a part time personal training gig, it netted me an extra 500 to 800 a month. It will help a little.

It takes your attention away from the fact that out of $19k, your pleb ass is only getting $1200. The rest goes to our corporate lords.

For a Lyft driver, bartender or dude living out of his 20-yo Porsche, that might be more money than they’ve seen in their lives

And come in handy now the truck stops are closed

I hope nobody believes this phucking dumb ass. Lmao.

The checks will be sent out to people in a few weeks. If they came in December, that wouldn't help the economy at all.

Use some common sense next time, retard. Jesus.

Not everyone is a baller making 75k+ a year, most are on that poverty time making less than 30k, and 1200 is not an insignificant amount.

The fact that I can survive a month without having to touch my savings is a big deal to me.

There is nothing that I currently spend money on, that I can't go and spend money on right now. This lock down has changed almost nothing in my life, except I don't have to go to work.
I really need to move. 1200 is like a 1 bedroom apartment here.

...but the way you all are taxed, makes it damn near impossible for you to climb out of the lower-middle class though. That "royal family" has you all by the nuts. No thanks

Doesn't it come out of 2020 tax credit? You have to pay it back irregardless so anybody that misses out isn't really missing anything

You see, there is a supply shortage because people aren't working and because of the exclusivity rules on number of people in stores, etc. Until we get back to equilibrium, the market cannot self correct. We are also currently in a liquidity trap so the fed cannot fix this issue anyway. Even if the coronavirus had never happened, the little oil situation between Russia and Saudi Arabia would have caused a global financial meltdown.
Thank you someone actually gets what I am saying.

2 trillion of monopoly money will never positively stimulate anything.

1200 is short term and short sighted.

What happens next month and the month after?

At some point the house of cards will fall and im giving it until mid may early June
