How will a $1200 stimulus check help out anyone?

1. We cant spend it on anything as we are on lockdown or shelter in place

2. 1200 doesnt pay any rent. Maybe one or two months worth of utilities but thats it.



They would have to pay everyone 1200 biweekly for this to have any effect of preventing a mass depression.

1200 pays the rent of my 3 Bedroom 2 Bath house actually.

The 1200 + the unemployment I'm getting will float me for an entire month without me having to touch my savings. Add in that I'm getting 500$ for my kid too, and I sure a fuk appreciate the check.

Not everyone is a baller making 75k+ a year, most are on that poverty time making less than 30k, and 1200 is not an insignificant amount.

The fact that I can survive a month without having to touch my savings is a big deal to me.

There is nothing that I currently spend money on, that I can't go and spend money on right now. This lock down has changed almost nothing in my life, except I don't have to go to work.

It's to stimulate the economy, not to be the economy.

Plus there are others things in the 2 trillion dollar bill, some good stuff some not so good. The checks only account for 320 billion of that.

$1200 is more then the majority of American's take home on a biweekly basis. Hard facts. It will help people pay their bills. And it will help stimulate the economy from the people that just buy random stuff it with.
