What is wrong with how this looks?

I just dont see what a bed frame adds except bulk. The way your room looks has more to do with the arrangement in general and decorations, not the bed

I never used a bed frame when I was in college. Just a box spring on the floor and mattress on top. Hell, I didn't even put sheets on my bed for 6 months one time just slept in a sleeping bag on top of the mattress lol. Still banged sloots and not a single one ever mentioned a word to me about it or noped out. They probably wrote chitty blog articles about how disgusting I am after I blew that back out. I won

I'm domesticated now and use a bed frame mainly for storage reasons

I personally still think that looks like chit and I dont know why anyone would prefer sleeping on the floor, but that is just my opinion. But the main difference is that in those pics there is still obviously some thought put into the room and it is clean and presentable. Most of the dudes I've know who were sleeping on a mattress on the floor had no cohesive decorations, chit all over the place, place smelled ect ect. It's more about having a tied together living space with some care and thought put in than a bed frame itself, but usually there is a strong correlation between the two.

I've slept on the floor for a semester in college and absolutely hated it, but like I said, I understand that part is preference. But I honestly dont really get the more support part, get a solid bed frame and a firm matress and box spring and it shouldn't be an issue.

No one is "Triggered." I had a funny follow-up to a VICE headline that I didn't want to post to social media, lest I get "Cancelled." You don't need to explain their format, they've been a propaganda rag for hipsters who get pegged and cuckolded for the better part of the last decade.

This too.

I guess now that I think back, when I lived in a studio apartment for a short time, my bed was a sheet on the floor with one pillow and a blanket. Move in and move out of the place was a duffel bag full of my belongings at the time.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone

Mattress on the floor is retarded. How are you gonna bend a broad over the bed and smash her while still standing?

That's what the bathroom sink is for. The added bonus is you can watch yourself banging in the mirror like Patrick Bateman

Lol interesting... I actually punched a hole clean through my wooden bed frames back rest and tossed it out and have been too lazy to replace it. I am now questioning why I need a bed frame altogether other then that it might be a eye sore to guests? The gf couldn’t care less, we actually live in a nice place believe it or not.

Agree with the author that it’s poverty as fuk

If I walked by a bedroom and saw a mattress on the floor I’d assume it was a house full of poor college kids

Slept with a box spring then mattress for a long time. Gave no ****s about having a frame. I honestly dont care about having a frame or decorations and stuff everywhere. I dont like the cluttered look and it made moving painful.

My wife loves having all that stuff. I just let her do whatever she wants, I don't care about having pictures/decorations.

Seen some sick set ups when i was in Japan. A lot of them don't have bed frames.

Had bed frames.

Removed bed frames.

Box spring mattress on floor crew.

I wonder where some of you live and if you even clean.

Black mold? Not in 5 years, then again I'm not disgusting and I clean regularly.

Bugs? Sorry, I have an exterminator.

Rodents? Sorry, I don't have rodents.

Like how disgusting are you people that you have these issues?

Do you not vacuum/dust/clean carpets/remove trash and clutter etc?

Rather spend an extra $500 on a superior mattress than a bed frame crew.

When I was single everything I owned was either white, black grey, camo or natural wood. I also didn't have any retarded chit like throw pillows or hanging pictures/posters. It was very clean and minimalist. I tried to bring that style into my house once I got married but my wife said it looks to sterile and people will think we are serial killers. Apparently throw pillows,"splashes of color" and pictures on the wall are a sign of a mentally healthy individual. Who knew?

i made my own bedframe....was switching from queen size to king size mattress and musta went to 5 different stores looking for king size bed frame, all i found was unsturdy crap for over $1,000, went to home depot bought a bunch of plywood and made frame, painted it white an used the white headboard from the queen sized be that was oversized...worked perfect, no one would ever know i make it myself an sheit is sturdy af

matress on floor is poverty...you can find the metal rails on kijiji for $50

what i don't understand is the purpose of a box spring
