I have my bed on a frame as well, but I just ran across this VICE article and thought that was a funny retort to the headline I didn't wanna put on my social media, lest I be cancelled for "slut shaming." I just hate VICE, and this article cracked me up because the girl writing it goes and bangs a bunch of guys, then makes fun of the fact she got railed on frameless beds as if her behavior of going and banging the entire city is somehow NOT worse than simply keeping a mattress on the floor.

I've spent maybe...10% of my life with the "Frameless bed" setup. Not by choice. Probably even less than that, just a couple months. Much prefer the frame, but I'm not gonna judge someone who prefers the floor route. It probably has benefits (like sturdier back support). My main point is this chick is "bed frame shaming" but I guarantee if someone was like "Well you're clearly a whore for seeing so many mattresses" she'd flip out and act like it's sexist.

Bedframe makes it harder for bugs to get to you at night lol.

No one has mentioned the real reason why you need bedframes - mold. Even if you can't be bothered getting one, at least get a basic ass bed base, or a fukking pallet style frame. Lift up your ratty ass beds after a night of lying on it on the floor, and see how damp it's gotten. Don't forget to take a big breath in of black mold spores, it'll give you superpowers like a super headache.
