There being no age of consent, has nothing to do with if he was a pe do or not. Being a pe do has nothing to do with if it's legally sanctioned or not.

Organized religions are pure superstitious, delusional nonsense. You don't need that garbage in your life. Use your cortex to form free, independent, critical thought instead of associating yourself with a ridiculous tribe.

The constant bitching and whining about women is getting old on here.

If the religion tells you you can't do xyz, and I do it, is the religion wrong or am I wrong? You seem to put the blame on the religion when it should be on me.

At the end of the day, surely our return is to Allah and there's no doubt in that.
Every soul has to taste death. It is on the Day of Judgement that you shall be paid your rewards in full. So, whoever has been kept away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has really succeeded. The worldly life is nothing but an illusionary enjoyment.

For you is your faith, and for me, my faith.

Islam is the cure - people aren't.

If all the religion is emphasizing a list of dos and don'ts, and not methods of psychological and spiritual transformation, then IMO there is an inherent problem with the religion.

That's what I have been alluding to.

We all recognize that in any other area of life (from sports, to drawing, to playing an instrument) that we need to train our ability to do want we want. That simply wanting do something won't work, unless we've trained ourselves to have the ablity.

The problem with Islam (and Christianity) IME is the emphasis on Creed, and it's an inherent flaw because both of them teach that believing the right creed is the most important thing in life. It's more important than being a kind person. Both teach that - with a few caveats - that even if you are loving and generous person but you are an Atheists God will toss you in hell, but will invite into heaven an abusive person who believes in their creed.

Buddhist societies are not perfect. Buddhist teachers can even be pieces of chit. And one of the issues seems to be that it's suffered the same problem as all religions in that it becomes and about traditions, and not improving it's practices/beliefs. However...

Buddhists and Buddhism strongly emphasizing training the mind to be different. Buddhism recognizes that without training the mind through daily practices, people will have a very low ability to do good and resist evil.

Islam and Christianity do not emphasize those things IME, they emphasize 'correct belief' as you can see by all the muslim ITT, who simply are arguing about what to believe, because of the threat of hell for having the incorrect belief.

IMO Christianity and Islam at it's best prioritizes praxis and not creed (e.g. Eastern Orthodox and Sufism).

Creed is most important thing in life that’s correct, it’s what directs behaviour. Being kind and having good manners is a behaviour dictated by one’s own creed.

Also what evidence you have that God will grant heaven to an abusive person lol?

Prophet peace be upon him said: انما بعثت لاتمم مكارم الاخلاق

Meaning: Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him summarised his ENTIRE mission in “verily I have not been sent (as prophet) except to perfect the noble of akhlaq (disposition of mankind).”

In Islam, being an abusive person doesn't make you an apostate. In Islamic creed - with some caveat, but exceptions don't disprove a rule - what determines if someone will go to heaven or not is based on their creed.

According to majority Islamic creed a muslim may temporarily go to hell for sins, but will eventually go to heaven.

Non muslims (with exceptions like I said, but exceptions don't disprove a rule) will go to hell, simply because they didn't believe in a 'correct' creed.

Islam is an exclusivist religion, it believes that it's creed alone is the truth, and the believing in it's creed is the only sure path to heaven.

That's not true at all. There are people from a variety of creeds who are everything from evil to exceptionally good.

Psychological make up is a bigger predictor of character, IME and IMO. Creed factors in very little IME.

Unless you are calling every muslim who is a bad person an apostate?

Hence why I said - take a step back. If you don't believe in Allah (who whomever), then ask yourself firstly is there a creator?
What good is Islam to you if you don't even consider it the truth? You are free to choose whatever you want; If I think I have what's true, of course I want others to hear it. However, no way can I impose it on others. That's their own choice. To say it will fix a society that for the most part doesn't even care about religion...how would you go about that?

You're talking to me - I didn't even mention hell (not that I recall). Firstly, talk about the oneness of Allah. This is what the Prophet PBUH said.

From what I can tell (and this is most people), the God people want is the God that seems to be take away. If it doesn't fit what you want, then no God def doesn't exist. That's not how Islam works. You are the creation; there is a creator. You worship the creator; not the other way around.

And Allah knows best
2:136
Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

How has that worked out for muslim majority countries in terms of quality of life regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status?

Have you heard of theveil of ignorancethought experiment?

I hope you don't avoid responding to what I'm about to say, because I think you will...

In a nutshell: Imagine if you were looking down on earth as a soul in 2021 about to be born on the planet. You had to roll a dice to determine what race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status you were going to be born as,but you could choosewhat nation you would be born into.

Would you honestly choose a single muslim majority country to roll that dice and be born into?

IMO if anyone is honest, they would only want to roll that dice and be born into Nordic and Western nations. Regardless of the serious problems that exist with woke culture, there is an attempt to try to make the society hospitable for people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.

Meanwhile Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world, due to their treatment at the hands of muslims. (I think many western muslims are unaware of that.)

Everyone knows how homosexuals are treated in muslim majority nations.

And, who seriously thinks that a rape investigation wouldn't be better carried out in Western and Nordic countries, than any muslim majority country?

Why do muslim majority nations (some of which are the richest GDP per capita nations on the planet) fail the Veil of ignorance thought experiment so badly?

I'm an atheist and I don't believe in God or any religion. I wish there was a God and divine justice in the world, but my life experiences have showed me the complete opposite. Even if I wanted to follow a religion, I don't know how I would even pick one or know what it is the right one. You have Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Catholicism, how do you even decide what is the right one for you?

What determines if someone will go to heaven or not is based on their DEEDS. The whole purpose of this life is to worship Allah the Creator, to be granted heaven in the hereafter. Doing good deeds is a form of worshipping Allah. The WHOLE purpose of our existence is to do good deeds.

And only Allah knows who will go to hell or heaven. Nobody else. I again ask for your evidence that abusive people will be granted heaven? Muhammad peace be upon him summarised his ENTIRE mission in “verily I have not been sent (as prophet) except to perfect the noble of akhlaq ie. disposition of mankind)”

Again, do you have any evidence? I see none.

Inshallah Allah brings us to the deen and rectifies our sins.

I'm not the judge - to Allah we surely will return and he will judge us accordingly. I didn't choose my circumstances...this is already in the qadr. Don't think that whatever injustice is being done...that those people will not be held accountable (including myself). Allah is the best of judges.

If they stay persistent on the deen, then Allah will grant them paradise. I pray for my fellow Muslims to help them during this time of hardship (and guide people who don't believe). Strive to the best of your abilities with what you have in terms of the worldly life and religion. I don't claim to have the provision of Allah...surely Allah gives to whom he wills. I don't ask for thanks or wealth...my reward is with my Lord. The dunya in comparison to the akhira is nothing...things in this world are nothing in comparison to losing my deen. Not even close.

Please akhi don't be deluded by the dunya...it was designed to break the heart. You will never feel content...give a man a mountain of gold and he will only want a second.
Every society goes through periods of high and low (the Muslim had a time of high during the golden era and it will return when Jesus comes). But the biggest loss is when you lose deen. One day you and I will be gone - reflect on the reality of life. No one can deny death. Even if you have everything in terms of material, wealth, kids, etc...all of it will be taken one day. Look at the rich of the past...who talks about them now?

I recommend Nabulsi encyclopaedia of Islamic science. You can read everything about Islam in there creed, Quran interpretation, Hadith, etc.
All religions’ goal is the same, Allah said “ And We did not send any Messenger before you but We revealed to him (saying): "There is no God but I, so worship Me.'' “. The only issue is that other scriptures than the holy Quran were modified by man; Quran is the only book that Allah guarded from corruption; it’s our prophet muhammad peace be upon him ETERNAL miracle. Allah said: “ Verily, We, it is We Who revealed the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely We will guard it (from corruption).”

Ow the edge.
It was all just satire. Sorry if I offended anyone with my trolling and sickening posts. Peace and love to everyone.

I predicted that you wouldn't address what I wrote.

No...it's not the answer you want.
If you think being born into a country is a sign of success, then we have different outputs on life that's all. That's fine and I respect that.
Pharaoh had everything and he's destined for hell...
Solomon had everything and he's destined for paradise...
In Islam, wealth isn't a sign of your status in the eyes of Allah.

You have your way, and I have mine.

That is against the Islamic creed.

Unless you are claiming that it doesn't matter if someone dies an atheist or non-muslim, that everyone has an equal opportunity to go to heaven?
I again ask for your evidence that abusive people will be granted heaven? Muhammad peace be upon him summarised his ENTIRE mission in “verily I have not been sent (as prophet) except to perfect the noble of akhlaq ie. disposition of mankind)”

Again, do you have any evidence? I see none.
Here you go...

"We should understand properly the general principle concerning this matter, the matter of entering Paradise and spending eternity in Hell. It is a simple matter that is explained in a brief hadeeth that was narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh (135) from Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: A man came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, what are the two deeds that make entering Paradise or Hell inevitable?

He said: “Whoever dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise, and whoever dies associating anything with Allah will enter Hell.”

An-Nawawi said: With regard to the words, “What are the two deeds that make entering Paradise or Hell inevitable?” what is meant are the characteristic that makes Paradise inevitable and the characteristic that makes Hell inevitable. End quote.

This hadeeth explains that what makes it inevitable that a person will enter Paradise is if he dies believing in Tawheed, and what makes it inevitable that a person will spend eternity in Hell is if he dies believing in shirk.

This is a definitive principle that is well-known and well established in the religion of Islam. There are mutawaatir texts which confirm and affirm it. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin”

[an-Nisa’ 4:48]. "

Maybe misinterpreting it...English not my first language brah and I'm not the best when it comes to IM tbh...I do better face-to-face when giving a message.

Your idea on success is dunya success - mine isn't. That's the difference between our theologies.

Hadith of Gabriel and the Shahada are really the only "creeds" thats Muslims follow.

The Hadith being the first and truly most fundamental creed for Muslims.

Here you go...

It’s not, it’s literally the whole purpose to life. Surat al mumenoon, Allah says: “ Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, (99)
that I should do righteousness in that I forsook. ' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. (100)

I still don’t see how what you linked proves that abusive people will be granted heaven. Muslim or nonmuslim, only Allah knows and decides who’s going to heaven or hell.
