This isn’t a greed thing it’s a revolution. The destruction of the fiat dark ages which fiat has only existed for 300 years. Anyway with btc it still has a 300x return in it. If you bought in 2010 it has had a 9million % return. Well never see that again sadly but the return we’ll see now is still gonna be amazing. Long term btc will be over 10m a coin. So even just 10k invested in will lead to millions in enough time.

300x implies BTC can get from $56k to close to $17 million.

I guess it can happen. If it went from pennies to $56k, why can't it go from $56k to $17 million? There's gotta be a limit somewhere though, you'd think.

I've always had a negative taste/association with cryptocurrencies. And time continues to prove I'm a fool for ignoring it. Hence why I'm mining today, if it continues to multiply so too will whatever BTC I mine today. If it doesn't, then no skin off my nose since I didn't actually invest any money into it (except power costs). Tempted to put a few thousand into it though at the next dip.

Isn't there a critical point where if Bitcoin hits $X, say $1M that would imply that the dollar is already worthless since BTC market cap would be that of the USD? So coincels would only be able to use their BTC or other coins and not sell it for USD. So is the comparison to the dollar long term even a valid point?

Michael saylor has done the math(so have others) and says there’s about 300t looking for a a new home. Btc will absorb everything eventually Ans if it hits those numbers we’re looking at over 10m a coin. Remember we’re at 1% world adoption and these insane prices. Blows my mind.

You are right imo. Eventually we will never transact btc for any fiat. No one would. It will be an interesting time when that happens.

Question, where are you all buying BTC and ETH? I was gonna open up a Fidelity account and get off Robinhood but I don't think Fidelity does cryptocurrency

I'm sticking with Gemini since I had an old account

Does kraken have the small altcoins like DOT and ADA?
